AIR CONDITIONING, NEW KITCHEN, BATHROOM and BEDS, FREE WIFI, ELEVATOR, PRIVATE ONSITE PARKING, WASHING MACHINE. Be lulled to sleep in brand new beds by the gentle sound of the surf a few meters away! Next door to the Parador, our apartment is in Edificio Acapulco, the best location in Nerja. It is located on the third floor with an elevator and private off street parking behind the building. Broadband internet access and WiFi are available.The kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated with new electric, water pipes, water heater, tiles, cabinets, and appliances in October 2011. New electric radiators were installed in all rooms.

Air conditioning units were added to all rooms in 2017.

There are two bedrooms with built in closets and shelves; the master bedroom facing the sea with a new queen bed, the other, looking north to the mountains, has two new twin beds.The main living area consists of a dining area with a typical Spanish wood table and 6 dining chairs. Beyond this area is the lounge area with a sofa, two upholstered chairs and sliding glass doors to the outdoor terraza. This has a dining table and four chairs. The lounge area has a flat screen color TV, new in 2016, and cable box receiving dozens of channels. A new washing machine is in the bathroom. The terrace provides beautiful coastal views to the east and south. Looking east you can see the village of Maro, location of the Nerja caves. In the background are the mountains and the rugged coastline extending eastward toward the town of La Herradura.

The large private garden includes a large, lovely swimming pool, a children's play structure and bathroom facilities.

Nerja provides the best of the old and the new. It is a charming white village with narrow cobbled streets that invite walking. No car is needed. Outside of town is the new super highway that will take you to Malaga and Granada. Everything one needs can be found within a short walk of the apartment, from small family owned stores and restaurants to modern supermarkets and fashionable boutiques.

Eating out includes paella on the beach at one of the many beachfront restaurants to tapas and fine dining. Easy day trips can be made by local bus to Malaga, Frigliana, and Granada, home of the famed Alhambra. Don't miss seeing that! Beautiful hiking trails are in the mountains behind us.

I am a retired school teacher, and my husband is a retired orchestra manager. We have been visiting Nerja since we first lived in Madrid, Spain in 1971. We fell in love with Spain then and have returned almost every year. We love the people, language, culture and food! We know that you will too!

Why Paul and Susan chose Nerja

We bought this unit in Edificio Acapulco because it is located next door to the parador, the best section of Nerja. It is a quiet location, has onsite parking, an elevator, a pool, and a beautiful sea view.

What makes this apartment unique

We love eating out on the balcony while watching the gorgeous view of the mountains and sea! We enjoy staying here because the neighborhood is quiet and is close to the beach and downtown. It also has a security gate and a private garden and pool and secure parking behind the building..

I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic holiday we have had in your Nerja apartment. It was the perfect size and perfect location, very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Such a beautiful view from the balcony too.

I will add a review to HomeAway and I have a feeling we will visit again as we loved Nerja and couldn't think of a better location for a place to stay.

Perfect location and excellent value in Nerja

Our family of 4 spent a week at this 2-bedroom apartment in May 2017 and loved it! The apartment itself is well equipped and clean, with updated kitchen and bathroom. Our kids appreciated having their own single beds in the second bedroom, and we appreciated being able to do laundry. The shower was excellent with good water pressure and lots of hot water. The view of the coastline from the balcony is beautiful. The grounds are well maintained and the complex has a nice pool which was very clean. The secure, private parking that comes with the rental is a definite bonus--no worries about finding street parking (which is tight in Nerja!). That being said, even though we had a car, everything was very walkable, and we loved the fact that we didn't have to use the car if we didn't want to.

We cannot overemphasize the ideal location of this apartment! Only a few minutes’ walk (across the street and down the steps) to Burriana Beach, a pleasant walk to the Balcon de Europa, and close to many other amenities (cafes, restaurants, bakery, grocery stores). Also, it is far enough from the nightlife to be quiet and peaceful. It was also a short, easy drive to Frigiliana and the caves. Overall we had no problems with the property and we felt very safe – both walking around Nerja and in the apartment.

Paul and Susan were easy to communicate with and answered all our e-mails promptly. They were very helpful in providing directions, maps, pointing out restaurants, markets and attractions, and generally just answering any other questions we had.

Overall we had a great stay at this property and given its ideal location, you get excellent value for your money. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

We loved staying in this property. A well kept apartment in a small well kept block.

We stayed for a month. Dec into January 2018. We so pleased to find an immaculately clean ( well done cleaner) and well equipped apartment. The beds were clean and comfortable. It was a well looked after small block,quiet with many cafe/bars within a short walk. Our neighbours were friendly and thoughtful. No loud noise late at night and consideration for others. We would certainly take another holiday at the same apartment. All round a super apt in a lovely setting with wonderful

views of the coastline. The owners were helpful and happy to answer any query.

Nice place but renovation and cleaning needed

Location closed to the center and the beach, but flat and urbanization is quite old (60´s) and need urgent renovation. Flat looked at the first look clean, but looking more in to details (Bed, Sofa, Kitchen) there are disgusting moments. Air conditioning would also be great. Swimming pool has to much chlorine ( very strong smell, eye burning), that kids should not swim there. Garden is nice and properly cared.

Owner's Response: Andreas did not give a truthful description of our property. The kitchen and bathroom were completely remodeled with everything new, electric line, tile, cabinets, appliances, in 2011. The three beds were also replaced with new high quality beds in 2011. Our cleaners are very thorough, and we have never before received a complaint about cleanliness. The pool does not have too much chlorine and meets safety standards. It is one of the highlights of the property. Please read the other 19 positive reviews we have received.

Wonderful holiday in a great location

We just returned home from a wonderful holiday in Nerja. Paul and Susan's flat is in a great location being pretty much next to the beach and was equipped with everything needed for the stay with lots of little extras here and there. All in all, a fantastic holiday.
