This charming, redbrick, Georgian dwelling is a fine example modest 19th century architecture. Boasting both comfort and character whilst offering all the mod-cons you could want. Our home consists of 2 bedrooms upstairs with one double bed in each room, 1 bedroom downstairs with 2 single beds and 2 double fold-down beds in the downstairs living room. There is a large, fully-equipped kitchen, 2 big bright bathrooms and spacious living room. All in, there are 2 flat screen TVs, Netflix, Apple TV, a selection of board games and wireless broadband.. Situated on a quiet, residential street in one of North Dublin's most historic suburbs, this location offers you the ideal opportunity to explore everything Dublin has to offer, and then get away from it all at the end of a long day.

This property is ideally situated within walking distance of the City Centre/Downtown, yet nestled quietly in one of North Dublin's most historic residential neighborhoods. Temple Bar, Trinity College, The GPO, The Spire, The Writers' Museum, The Jameson Distillery, O’Connell Street, (Dublin’s main thoroughfare) - all just stone's throw away from our lovely home.

My name is Simon and I'm a true Dubliner, born and bred. I enjoyed living in this area with my wife Joanne and awesome daughter Freya! - The home is very comfortable and the area is near enough for easy access to the city, yet far enough for peace & quiet!

We had a fantastic stay in your house in Dublin. We have rented a lot of properties in our time and this was without a doubt the best one yet - spacious, stylish, comfortable and so full of little touches and treats like the scones, weather report, chocs and bath products - We felt really spoiled! Thanks also for booking the restaurant and taxis - this made things so easy and relaxing for us

I'd recommend your house to anyone thinking of staying in Dublin - thanks for making it a really special treat to celebrate my birthday!

Comfortable, welcoming property for a family in Dublin

We were warmly greeted and found the property in excellent condition. The family had room to stretch out, prepare meals, sleep, and prepare for each day of our visit. A short walk from the central shopping district and close to groceries, it is well located. Parking was easy as well with our rental car within 30 feet of the property each night. The owners left very complete instructions making laundry and such simple. Highly recommend and will look for the same property on our future visits to Dublin.

Comfortable stay for family of five!

We enjoyed five nights in Dublin at this lovely townhouse. The apartment was in great condition, and there was plenty of room for three adults and two children (ages 3 and 5).

The neighborhood worked nicely for a family with young kids. Located on a quiet residential street, there is a nice playground around the block, and many good restaurants delivered dinners to the apartment.

It is about a 20 minute walk south to the city center. We generally took the bus (several buses stop less than five minutes away) because an ill-timed sprained ankle left me on crutches.

Simon and Fabi were extremely responsive, helpful, and delightful to work with. Highly recommended!

Love love love

We love visiting and having a home base for our many adventures. The home is spectacular and so inviting. This is our 2nd time staying here and if I get another opportunity it would be wonderful again. The owner is such a warm and welcoming and accommodating individual. I highly recommend!

The apartment was very well kept and was very comfortable!!!

Simon definitely gave us nice touches by having scones and guiness bread delivered. He also gave us great recommendations. Loved that he had taxi drivers for us too when we left. It was a great experience!!!!

Wonderful house, close to the city

We had the most fabulous stay here in April. It was our first time booking on VRBO and was a bit nervous at the beginning but Simon put my mind at ease and the entire process was so easy. We were staying with another family here and the house was perfect! It's decorated so beautifully and has a nice cosy feel to it. The kitchen was huge and newly renovated so we found we hung out here a lot. There is a cute little patio off the kitchen and the front room was great for the kids to escape and watch Netflix and just hang out. The bathrooms were fabulous too...both newly renovated. There were snacks and bottles of water in each bedroom and the next morning we had a delivery of fresh scones and Irish soda bread...such a nice touch. The bedrooms were fabulous too. It's only about a 10 minute walk to downtown and Henry street where all the shops are including Penny's where we always ended up at. There is a Tesco close by too where we got all of our groceries. Our flight wasn't until the evening and there was another family coming to rent the house so Simon was able to arrange having our luggage stored for the day which was really great and it was on the way to the airport so it was very easy for us to stop and pick up along the way. Simon and the house managers were so fabulous to deal with. Whenever we had a question we always got a response right away. Our stay in Dublin was fantastic and the house had everything we needed and was super clean and perfect for us. We can't wait to come back and rent this property again : ) Thank you so much to Simon and your house managers for making our stay so wonderful. Hope to see you soon!

Wonderful stay at Broadstone House

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this adorable home and how incredibly wonderful Simon and his house managers were to work with. This was our first overseas trip ( from the U.S. ) and we were very nervous about all of the logistics coming together, especially because there was 9 of us! But Simon and his team were so professional and incredibly responsive to every question or need we had both before the trip and during our stay.

The house worked out perfectly for us and we had 6 adults and 3 teenagers... it is beautifully decorated , modern but also has such a lovely warm homey feel. This house provided the perfect introduction to our trip to Ireland. About a 15 minute walk to city center and you get to see all kinds of interesting things along the way.

Thank you Simon for a wonderful stay! Hopefully we will be back again soon. Loved every second of Ireland!!!!

CANCELLATIONS

We operate a strict Cancellation Policy. If a cancellation occurs, we will only refund payments if/when we manage to re-sell your cancelled dates in the same rental. All cancellations incur a 10% Admin Fee. This fee is calculated as 10% of the overall value of your entire stay.

If we re-sell all your nights, we will issue a full refund of monies paid, less a 10% Admin Fee.

If we only re-sell some of your nights then we will only refund the value of the nights re-sold, less the 10% Admin Fee. The value of the nights sold is calculated using the average nightly rate of your original booking.

We do not operate a cancellation insurance scheme but we strongly recommend that all guests take out full cover.

There is a security deposit/breakages bond due of €500 which can be paid in cash or via credit card(no fee's apply) on arrival to your rental.

Your security deposit/breakages bond is refunded on your day of departure after the rental has been inspected.
