Come and enjoy our updated condo in private/gated condominium! Gulf front, west end unit condominium w/sunset views perfect for a painting! Cool sea breezes and tranquil surroundings await you at 205 Emerald Dunes, settled in the heart of Crystal Beach which is well known for beautiful, wide beaches and no high rise condominiums. Not only does this mean less people on the beach but also adds to the relaxing atmosphere of the Crystal Beach community. Simply lounge on your gulf front balcony with a good book, relax on the beach, or rent a bike just across the street and tour the quaint, cottage style community. A bike path is also just across the street which goes the entire length of Scenic Hwy 98. Additionally several restaurants are within walking distance and just two blocks away are four major shopping areas complete with Publix Grocery, various shops and restaurants as well as a large movie theatre.
This 2nd floor end unit condo has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, hallway bunk area and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Brand new ceramic tile throughout the entire condo and a fully remodeled kitchen that boasts granite counter tops, painted cabinetry & stainless steel appliances. Other brand new items addressed were the AC, water heater, front load washer & dryer and fresh paint throughout. But our favorite update was our ability to double the living area space. Incredible gulf views can be enjoyed by all from the living area featuring a full kitchen with breakfast bar and dining area. The covered gulf front balcony is a great place to start the day relishing your morning coffee and end the day enjoying the evening sunsets. Evening meals can be poolside with two stainless steel gas grills adjacent to the pool and are maintained by the Association staff. As an added bonus, the elevator is optional due to this end unit condo positioned in front of west stairwell. Just one flight of stairs and it opens up directly across from our front door. Perfect for those who are anti-elevators/impatient as myself:)

It's VRBO #800661 and is a 5br 4bth "Legend " of a property. Also, if a beach house works for you, we have VRBO #2054 located just a block away. It's a 3BR + tower bedroom w/(2) twin beds, 3 1/2 Bath FL beach cottage in Clipper Cove, again just one block away from these condos.

We love the Crystal Beach area due to the wide and un-crowded beaches and close proximity to a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
This unit is gulf front on a private beach. Also, located at the West end of Scenic Hwy 98 & close to Henderson Beach State Park which is just a 4 minute walk. This area of beach encompasses Destin's largest, most private, quiet, peaceful beach and very much like Destin was when we were just kids.
The owner of this property was very helpful and accommodating. Wonderful location, and great service!
Our condo was a dream. Dealing with Randy was a treat. He had all our paper work to us in plenty of time, all the codes to use the facilities were all there. The condo was very pleasant, plenty of room, comfortable beds. The appliances all worked, the view was great. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. We stayed 5 nights and will certainly view this property for next year.

The unit was extremely well kept, very clean and well appointed everything you need to make it a home away from home. Terrific location close to grocery and all types of shopping thst your heart desires - on a rainy day😉Best of all was being beachfront with easy access to the beautiful sand and surf. Randy provided his personal attention to support our stay. Couldn't ask for more. We'll be back!
Our family really enjoyed our vacation here in August 2016. The condo was very clean and the furnishings seemed brand new. Being on the second floor was very convenient and the view from the corner balcony was beautiful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, and we will be back again next year!
My husband and I stayed here with our two daughters (ages 16 and 21) for a family vacation in July 2016. For the past 7 years we had always stayed in Okaloosa Island/Ft. Walton. We decided we wanted a change in location this year so did some research and found this gem. I love that this small pocket of Destin feels more private and not very crowded or commercial, no high-rises and the beach and water could not be any more beautiful. We jogged every morning on the foot/bike path that parallels the scenic Hwy 98, stopped for a smoothie and breakfast at the cute little café across the street from condo, then spent the entire rest of the day on the beautiful beach. I love that the rental includes the umbrella and chair set up, there are also paddle boards available to rent at a very reasonable hourly rate. The condo is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. I appreciated the extra touches such as the beach towels, Keurig machine and full size Samsung He front load washer and dryer.
A couple of restaurants in walking distance and many restaurants within a short drive off the main strip. We love to spend a couple of our evenings at the Destin Harborwalk for dinner and shopping, then stopping for a couple of drinks while listening to the live band at Margaritaville. The Destin area is definitely not lacking in things to do - you just have to deal with a little bit of traffic when venturing down the main strip of Emerald Coast Parkway.
Randy was wonderful, attentive and a pleasure to work with - we don't think we would ever want to stay anywhere else in Destin! It was everything a perfect beach vacation should be and more!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our Spring Break at Emerald Dunes. This unit exceeded our expectations and was everything we wanted and more! The pictures simply do not show how clean and large the unit is. Our 2 kids enjoyed the bunk beds each night and the view is breathtaking. There are 3 different kinds of coffee makers to choose from and that is a plus. Randy was easy and nice to coordinate with. When we visit again we will stay at this property.
A 4+ mile bike trail runs the length of Scenic 98 and bike rentals are right across the street. The expanded Destin Commons is 1 mile away which is loaded with shopping opportunities, restaurants, movie theater 7 bowling alley. Big Kahuna Water Park is approx. 3 miles west of the property. The famous Silver Shells Outlet Mall is approx. 4 miles east of the property.
