Our 2nd stay was as good as the 1st!
We were glad to be back at Dawn's for another relaxing week this summer. Everything was clean, Dawn was a lovely host and we enjoyed lots of time in the pool and on the water directly behind the home. At Dawn's recommendation we found a great spa nearby in Kent Narrows and took a day trip into St. Michaels too. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Dawn's Paradise Cove
What great time! The house is on a side street. Not much traffic, very quiet. We felt as though, We were at home . But, even better...We were on the Wye River... Dawn is very friendly and accommodating. I forgot a closet full of shirts and Dawn was quick to tell me, keep them safe, and make arrangements to pick them up. Thanks Dawn, for being so nice! We can't wait to visit again! Thanks again, Jack and Jill

The Cove on the Wye
Loved this comfortable charming house tucked in a small neighborhood with a beautiful peace of property on the Wye River, cozy, quiet back yard and deck on the water, where we looked forward to coming “home” to after exploring all day, enjoyed St. Michael and the Maritime Museum and day trip to Delaware, absolutely loved Maryland and Chesapeake Bay Area, it was our favorite out of 7 destinations along the east coast and mountains, the best was arriving to the house with a Scavenger Hunt to do in the nearby beautiful neighborhood, the house host was extremely helpful and friendly, and her personal touches made our stay there the best, would highly recommend

Relaxing Stay
Such a relaxing location and house! The weather was hot, so we spent most of our time in the pool. The water access was fantastic for dropping in some kayaks. The house is comfortable and homey and sitting on the back deck is relaxing. There's everything you need in the kitchen to cook during your stay. Your a short drive away from restaurants and a local store. Dawn was a fantastic host - easy to communicate with and made sure we were all set to have a great vacation!

When growing up my parents had a fishing charter business on the Chesapeake Bay, and I fell in love with spending time on the water. I worked hard to make my dream a reality and enjoy sharing my shore home with my family. The joy of watching the kids catch their first crab or searching for swans nests in the spring never gets old. Having this much nature at your doorstep is a simple pleasure we're lucky to have and happy to share.

Why they chose this property

The Eastern Shore of Maryland is a nature lovers paradise, Migratory Geese, Blue Heron, Swans and Osprey are just wonderful to view, and add a peaceful element to a hectic profession I've chosen.

What makes this property unique

Famous for the Chesapeake Blue Crab, the Wye River never disappoints, the crab bounty is excellent. Secondly, exists no commercial business, therefore the waters are pristine and perfect for swimming, kayaking, and wildfowl sightings. Its not unusual in the fall to spot a deer or two swimming across the river!!
