About Jennifer

Location! This community has the best of both worlds - it is great for the owners and their family to visit because it is close to family members and close to all the activities they enjoy (including winter sports)....but also great as a vacation rental for others.....the unit is fully licensed as a tourist home (required by Cottonwood Heights).

We have lived in Utah all our lives. We love the outdoors and love the SNOW! I have been involved in the vacation rental business for 20+ one time managing over 90 vacation rentals. Now having my own and managing two for friends I can provide the attention to detail I was unable to provide when handling so many. Because of my affiliation in the outdoor sports industry I provide many special extras in our properties to make them more comfortable and of course, MORE FUN!!! I personally go to each unit before and after each stay to make sure everything is just right! If you have questions or concerns, just look at the guest comments! What makes this townhome unique

The location is ideal - right at the mouth of the Canyons so we can ski, hike and bike in 20 minutes, yet still in Salt Lake county with quick access to the freeway to go to downtown Salt Lake City or to Park City. Grocery stores and restaurants are close by as well.

The perfect famiky ski condo!

My family of five recently stayed here for our week of skiing in Big Cottonwood Canyon. First off, the property could not be more conveniently located to the skiing. We could literally have walked to the ski bus. Secondly, the property was thoroughly equipped with everything we could ever need during our stay. Every detail was considered by Jennifer who was very open and available for questions and suggestions. Finally, the hot tub makes the whole stay complete. There's nothing we love more after a long day sinking in the unparalleled powder of Utah than a short drive to the hot tub. We hope to be back next year.

Perfect location for an easy drive up to Snowbird or to visit family in town. The condo is really lovely and has all the amenities to ensure a great stay. The hot tub was great after skiing.

Excellent Choice for a Ski House in the Salt Lake City Area

My family had a great time here! It is 20-25 minutes from the Snowbird, Alta, Solitude and Brighton ski areas and 20 minutes from the Salt Lake City airport. The house itself was well appointed – meeting all our needs from the kitchen having all the tools of home to the bathrooms having travel size necessities for those who may have forgotten shampoo, lotion or even Advil. We all enjoyed soaking in the very nice hot tub after a long day at the slopes. A few details - there are a total of five levels, each separated by a half flight of stairs. The bottom level has the garage and the washer/dryer. The next level has the kitchen and living room. The next level has the front door and a full bathroom including a tub. The next level has a loft sleeping area with a day bed and a trundle pull out that will accommodate two more sleepers, but this area is open to the living room which could make it challenging to sleep if everyone is not sleeping at the same time. The top level has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the master bedroom which has a bathroom connected to both it and the hallway (shower and toilet are in a separate room from the sink where the entrances to the hallway and MBR are located). The king bed in the MBR has a very firm mattress, which I loved but my wife likes a softer bed. Jennifer (the owner) was very responsive both prior to and during our stay (we couldn’t figure out how to start the dryer)

I highly recommend getting the Ski City Super Pass as it allows you to go to any of the 4 mountains and gives a huge discount on rental equipment.

Great Rental

We had a great time at this condo. Good location. Easy to drive or take UTA shuttle bus to all ski resorts. Kitchen and house is very well stocked- We tried to think of what this condo could add to make it better but couldn’t think of anything! They don’t empty out the cupboards and fridge completely when guests leave (a good thing) so there are assorted spices and other cooking supplies that you can use. We added a couple items ourselves. The bedrooms and beds are comfortable and spacious. It was nice having a laundry room and a garage to park our car. They even had boot heaters. Jacuzzi was a great addition as well. It was clean and maintained while there. I can go on and on but will stop here. You won’t be disappointed!

Just like home - but with FAR better skiing!

Our family of 5 spent a week at the condo as our home away from home so that we could ski on the Mountain Collective pass to Alta, Snowbird and Snowbasin. It was the perfect location - just 20 minutes up the Canyon to Snowbird and Alta and 1 hour to Snowbasin. The gas station, 7/11 and grocery store/restaurants complex are literally around the corner in both directions. Access to the highway is within a few minutes.

We were very impressed when we arrived with how well stocked the unit was - spices, sugar, condiments, toiletries in every bathroom (mini-soaps, shampoos, conditioners, deoderants, etc.), paper products, cleaners, foils, etc. Other than the food that we wanted to buy for meals and snacks, we spent very little on condo "necessities" because they were mostly all there. The furnishings are very nice. In many of the rentals that we have stayed, we have felt like the furnishings were the bare bones type - ones that could get ripped, damaged, etc. and then be easily replaced. This unit has lovely furniture and great beds/mattresses/bedding. The kitchen dishes are sturdy, appliances in good condition and everything about it feels like the owners might actually LIVE there because it is like "home" vs. someones rental. Having the owners in the complex is great because they are around to help with any issues (an alarm of some sort was beeping early one morning and we wrote to them and they replied very promptly that they would be over that day to look at it.) Additionally, they were very helpful in suggesting local restaurants for take out the last night that we were there because we were sick of cooking!

The condo also has lots of directions and information hung up around it which is very helpful. We grilled BBQ one night and the propane had run out. There were directions for how to use the grill, how to replace the propane, where to go, etc. We were able to swap the tank in 10 minutes at the store and begin grilling.

Our kids, hands down, LOVED LOVED LOVED the hot tub. Every day after skiing for 6 hours plus - the first thing they would do was put all their dirty ski gear in the washing machine, put on their suits and turn on our speaker for tunes and jump in the hot tub! We spent every afternoon and a few evenings in it looking at the mountains.

We will tell our New England pals about this unit. You can't beat the condition of the unit, convenience of the location, communication with the owners and the hot tub - of course!
