BG's goal is to provide the best value vacation rental for it's guests. We have enjoyed sharing our homes in Galveston, Texas for almost 10 years. One of our properties has even been featured in Best Life magazine. The ultimate compliment is knowing you made a memory in this magical place and we were a part of it. We own vrbo #280485 and manage 2 duplexes in College Station, Texas. We manage everything ourselves, from our home nearby. We feel we are blessed to do this, especially when we enjoy it so much. We look forward to speaking with you personally. Ted and Brenda

I’ve been going back to Sayulita with my family for the past ten years and we love staying at BG’s Vista Hermosa. It’s far enough from the noise of the town but close enough for a golf cart ride anywhere you need. I enjoy running up and down the steep hill for exercise in the morning as it’s only like 5 minutes from the beach as well. There are yoga classes everywhere, awesome surf instructors, pretty hikes, and a local gym. Sayulita has a growing supply of organic and natural ingredients. The hippie smoothie spot is a daily favorite. After a days work of exercise, I liked taking a siesta on the hammock that’s in the casita or relax in the infinity pool. My family and I had everything we needed to cook before a night out or we would check out one of the amazing restaurants. Overall, unbeatable view and unforgettable memories made with our family :) muchas gracias
BG’s Vista Hermosa arguably has the most serene view in all of Sayulita! From the infinity pool overlooking beautiful landscaping, through the jungle, and down to the waves of the Pacific Ocean - you will never see a sunrise or sunset like this anywhere else! The entire staff was incredibly helpful. Ted and Brenda were always available for any questions I had and they even include their designated driver to take you to and from the airport (we got groceries and a smoked chicken along the way!). At one point I did lose my phone in town but the locals were very easy to talk to (even with me not knowing any Spanish!) and we ended up finding it a couple hours later. I hated to leave the home and depart from the view, but once I did I found that the food in town is absolutely wonderful! There are options for the whole family and everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. If you’re coming to Sayulita, this is the place to stay! I can’t wait to return and maybe even check out their other home in Galveston, TX! Thank you again for the unforgettable memories.
This property is well worth the money! What an amazing time we had as a family of 5. We were very hesitant on staying in Sayulita due to all the reviews online, and Ted, the owner was willing to answer our questions multiple times by speaking to us personally. The view is breathtaking and we loved spending all of our time in the infinity pool.
Let me start by saying we have never given a bad review before. We are VRBO property owners ourselves and take reviews very seriously! Unfortunately on this occasion I had no choice. We wanted to warn other people. We stayed at this property April 12th to 18th.It is a nice house just as the pictures show on VRBO. However not safe! The first night we arrived we locked the property us and went to town for a quick bite of dinner. We were gone literally two hours! While we were gone the property was robbed and the safes broken into money and jewelry were stolen. The property manager Edgar arrived the next morning to assess the situation. He later informed us that we was talking to the police and they even had a suspect who was seen coming up the hill.We got a call from Brenda the property owner who did apologize for the terrible event she assured us that they were taking of it and she would "make it right",
It definitely did effect the entire rest of our stay.We had teenage children with us who we could not leave alone at the property for fear the robbers would return. We had confidence that Edgar the property manager was taking care of the situation as he had assured us he was.talking to the police and checking the surveillance camera. After returning home to the states we reached out to the property owners. We were shocked and extremely disappointing at the response we received he basically had fabricated a completely different story. He said we were supposed to report the robbery? He said that we had left the property open which was not true.We made sure to secure it .These robbers were watching us which is so scary and brought tools to open the safes. The location of the property is isolated very out of the way. You would have to plan this robbery its not like someone was just walking by.He said Edgar do not report the robbery even though we have texts from Edgar stating the opposite. These property owners took a bad situation and turned it into a horrible one by accusing the victims. You give VRBO a bad name with your behavior.
We are so sorry that you were disappointed during your stay. We make every effort to ensure that our guests and their belongings are safe throughout their vacation using our video surveillance cameras, multiple electric personal combination safes and a highly trusted property manager and staff that we have worked with for years. We have electronic locks on all of our outside doors, combination exterior gates that when locked, make it very difficult to access the property.
In review of our cameras, on at least two occasions, the property was not secured and gates were left open. Also, on the Ring surveillance cameras we cannot see anyone entering or exiting the property other than the guests in your party. There were no visible signs of any break in from either gate, the three doors, or any glass doors. It is still a mystery as to what happened to your cash and the Old Navy jewelry with tags on them but we are thankful nothing vitally important was missing like passports, electronics, other valuables, etc. According to the VRBO insurance policy, A police report must be filed and that is why we advised you to do so. Our property manager, Edgar offered to help you with the report and you decided otherwise. This would have been an important step to file a claim through VRBO’s Damage Protection Plan or your homeowners insurance. We offered to help in anyway that we could while you were on your trip but did not hear a response. We were informed you were enjoying the beach, shopping and even inquired about dinner at the house. We wish you would have told us how unsafe you were feeling during your stay instead of waiting two weeks after returning home. At that point, you requested compensation for your losses or you would write a bad review. With no official police report and no signs of forceable entry into the property, we did not find it our responsibility to reimburse you. We have replaced our safes and will continue to remind our guests the importance of locking the property and their belongings even if only for a quick trip to town. We will maintain top notch surveillance to ensure that all of our guests are safe with us at Vista Hermosa. We have been a part of VRBO since 2009 and we have seen many things but never had any incidents of theft on our property. We do apologize that your cash and your jewelry are missing. We refunded your damage deposit and sincerely hope that nothing like this ever happens again. Sayulita really is a safe & charming village.
Beautiful home in a special place. Couldn’t possibly be happier. Owners so accommodating and friendly - sincerely enjoyed our time at this home!!! Highly recommend for small groups - great entertainment center, pool, bars etc.
Beautiful spot! We loved our stay.
