This apartment is placed in the area of Trastevere one of most ancient neighborhoods of the Historic Center of Rome. It's located in an historical palace of the 1700.
Inside the apartment you can see the original 1700 celling in wood and walls in red 'cotto'.
The location is just perfect. The apartment is framed in the historic center of Rome. You can easily reach the most important sites of the city on foot.
The apartment is also well connected with many bus lines.
The property has been renovated in 2014 in order to make it a mix of confort and old style.

This large and cozy apartment (70 m2 wide) is composed with 2 BEDROOMS:
The first BEDROOM (24 m2 - 258 ft2) is very large and sunny, it overlooks with 2 sound proof windows via della Scala, which is a very quite and safe street. There's a confortable double bed, a sofà bed and a living area with table and chairs (the room has air conditioning);
The second BEDROOM (18m2 - 193 sq2) is also sunny and large, it has too a double bed and it overlooks a very quite inner courtyard (the room has air conditioning).

The large LIVING ROOM is elegant and well furnished, it has a sofà and a large table (there's also a baby chair). The kitchen is fully furnished and equipped with freezer, ice maker, gas stove, owen, electric kettle coffe maker and all the kitchenware.

There is a confortable full bathroom with shower. There is hair dryer, soap and shampoo
At the ENTRANCE of the apartment you can find all the maps and guides of the city.
Children are welcome, we also provide for free a baby crib and baby chair
The apartment has free WiFi, air conditioning and autonomus heating system.

Ideal location, good facilities, clean, helpful owner

This property is in an ideal location, a quaint old area of Rome with many bars and restaurants along narrow cobbled streets. Not far from the Tiber, it only takes 15 mins or so to walk to Campo de' Fiori and about 20 mins to the Vatican. It is also only a 5-10 min walk to the bus and tram stops for an easy journey to Rome's sights and attractions. The apartment itself has two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchenette with a dining table and sofa, and a bathroom (no bath, just a shower which suited us fine). It was very clean,the owner met us and gave information about the apartment and the area. It was a beautiful place to stay. The streetlight outside was quite bright into the front bedroom (thicker curtains?) and the chattering in the street did disturb me a bit for the first night or so, but I got used to it and slept very well for the rest of the week. Also, the shower was a good powerful one, but unfortunately the showerhead holder struggled to hold it in place. These were minor things though-it is a charming apartment in a beautiful area in one of the most iconic cities in the world. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly situated for sightseeing, then eating out in the evening

Very convenient and comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful. Everything was clean and worked well. There is a wonderful choice of reasonably price eateries nearby.

Thoroughly enjoyable time. Extremely helpful owner

A very comfortable and excellently located apartment in a lively area. The accommodation met all of our expectations and benefits from being within easy reach of all the well known sites. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as well as an adequate supermarket. The train and tram journey from the airport was quite easy, once we'd figured out where the tram stop at the station was, although we did benefit from Angelo very kindly meeting us off the tram. Angelo really couldn't have been more helpful. Although a little more expensive than we'd anticipated, the local botanical gardens, only a few minutes walk from the apartment, were well worth a visit for a peaceful change from the city.
