Good Location - helpful owners
We actually rented the two apartments on the first floor opening up into each other - plenty of room and well equipped.
The owner was on the spot to take us there and explained everything.
And on departure, once again explained everything nicely and called us a taxi for all our items.
The location puts you right in the center of the activity so very convenient for restaurants, bars, shopping and treks to the various sites around Rome. We did do a lot of walking.
The only suggestion would be an upgrade on towels and a little more work on cleaning the floors. They were somewhat gritty requiring shoes at all times.
Comfortable, convenient and ideally located.
First time in Rome. Good area for travelling around. Variety of eating places.
Apartment excellent. Owner very helpful. Would definitely return in the future to see more of the city
Great central location in Trastevere
Enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights in Rome. The location is ideal for relaxing and grabbing a bite to eat after touring historic Rome. There are many many restaurant options within easy walking distance and you are only a 20-30 min walk to the historic areas of Rome. The apartment is a reasonable size with two separate bedrooms. Also has a small kitchen/living room area that we didn't use a whole lot but was nice to have. The only minor complaint would be the location next to a lively street, making it somewhat noisy at night. I would definitely recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The owner was very good with communication and also helped arrange airport transfers as well as helping with our lost/delayed luggage (thanks again!). Great apartment and I would definitely stay here again.
Great home base in Trastevere!
I really enjoyed my stay at this Trastevere apartment! The owners were very communicative and readily available before and during my trip to Rome. (I even lost the keys to the apartment - whoops - and they were there with a spare set in 20 minutes and charged me a very reasonable replacement fee.)
The apartment itself is basic, but has everything you need. (And honestly, you won't spend too much time there anyway!) The neighborhood is great - it's a bit removed from the center of the city, about a 15 - 20 minute walk from Piazza Navona - and so, so picturesque. Tons of adorable bars and restaurants nearby.
I'm very happy you've enjoyed your stay in Rome!
The apartment is just in the historical center of Rome. The historical center of Rome is very wide and it is composed with many neigborhoods. Trastevere is one the most acient
Ideal location, good facilities, clean, helpful owner
This property is in an ideal location, a quaint old area of Rome with many bars and restaurants along narrow cobbled streets. Not far from the Tiber, it only takes 15 mins or so to walk to Campo de' Fiori and about 20 mins to the Vatican. It is also only a 5-10 min walk to the bus and tram stops for an easy journey to Rome's sights and attractions. The apartment itself has two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchenette with a dining table and sofa, and a bathroom (no bath, just a shower which suited us fine). It was very clean, the owner met us and gave information about the apartment and the area. It was a beautiful place to stay. The streetlight outside was quite bright into the front bedroom (thicker curtains?) and the chattering in the street did disturb me a bit for the first night or so, but I got used to it and slept very well for the rest of the week. Also, the shower was a good powerful one, but unfortunately the showerhead holder struggled to hold it in place. These were minor things though-it is a charming apartment in a beautiful area in one of the most iconic cities in the world. We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you for being my guests!
cool oasis in hot summer
This was my fourth stay at Trastevere apartment, but my first in the summer. The apartment was much brighter in summer and the air conditioning kept it cool in a very hot August. Because the walls are so thick, even when the air conditioning was turned off, it felt wonderfully cool when stepping inside from being outside in the heat. The kindness and generosity of Rosari and Angelo are what really set this clean, comfortable (with the most comfortable bed!), and homey apartment apart. One advantage of being in Trastevere in August and some other parts of Rome, is that the neighborhood and city are a bit less crowded, almost empty in the mornings. I am looking forward to my next visit to Rome and to staying at this beautiful apartment!
