About Jennifer Robinson
We built this house because we fell in love with the Vermont countryside, the property views and the many fun things to do on a year around basis. We enjoy it as much as possible but our children have grown up and are away at school so we want to share this unique and wonderful place with other families.
Jennifer Robinson purchased this House in 2006
Why Jennifer Robinson chose Pawlet
Beautiful landscape, mountain views and fresh air and the many sports and activities in the area.

A perfect family weekend!
The house was perfect for us. It was well supplied, and the views were terrific. Our favorite place was the porch overlooking rolling farm country--and the sumptuous master bedroom came a very close second. Thank you for everything you did to make our stay so comfortable!"
Poppy and her family were the perfect guests. So easy to communicate with, respectful of the house, and house rules, and understanding when they couldn’t find the salad bowl I had stashed away. :) We would welcome them back happily anytime!!
Amazing time in a beautiful home
A big group stayed in Pawlet for a summer weekend. The property is even more beautiful than the pictures. Comfortable and clean for all. Would 100% recommend for a group trip.
We would have Alexandra and her group back any time. Excellent guests!!!
Stunning home, amazing views, close to skiing
First, I must say that the view is breathtaking. It was the perfect ski getaway for our extra large family. The owners thought of everything as far as stocking the home with towels/linens/firewood etc. The decor is very tasteful, appliances are top of the line and the finishes are top notch.
We had a few minor issues, the hot tub water was green so we didn’t want to use it. The heat in the (gorgeous!) master wasn’t working well and we had to be very mindful of our water consumption as it comes from a well. That being said, we still LOVED his home and would stay there again in a heartbeat. If you’re on the fence, do it! It’s even more beautiful in person, the pics do it no justice at all.
Jessica Johnson and her group were great, respectful guests. I am sorry that the heat was not working properly in the master. I think it was due to the extended extreme cold. We are currently investigating the situation. I am also looking into the greenish color in the hot tub. Sometime correcting the balance after a big groups can be tricky. Working on sorting that out as well. Would welcome them back anytime!!
Spectacular house
The views are astounding. The house sits at the top of the mountain and has 360 degrees of gorgeous. The interior of the house is lovely, wide plank floors, beamed ceilings and a huge fireplace. Great decks to sit and enjoy the mountains. The kitchen is well equipped, all top of the line appliances and plenty of dishes and glassware.
A few small criticisms. There are not really 6 bedrooms. The master has a king bed, is a huge room off by itself and has windows on 3 walls. But no blinds or curtains so be prepared to be up with the sun. I love that but others might not. There is a nice size queen bedroom, a small queen bedroom, each with an attached bath and a bunk room on the lower level. Then on the upper level there is a dorm room with 4 twin beds. I suppose the massage room is technically a bedroom but there is no bed. There are also sofas in each of the dens which can be slept on. The bathrooms don't have hair dryers, so bring your own. I never travel with one as they are generally supplied. The showers are awesome however you will have to be careful with water consumption.
The road up is challenging. 4 wheel drive is essential for winter visits. We had an unusually warm week in February, the road was muddy and very slippery or icy and incredibly slippery. Plowed and passable but I was glad I chose to rent a 4 wheel SUV. You need to plan your groceries carefully, it's a long way down to any stores. The general store in Pawlet has a few essentials but it's a long drive to the nearest grocery stores.
We had a magnificent visit. Hiked the woods, cooked great meals, played games and snuggled by the fire.
Jen is a great person to rent from. She was really helpful. I can't thank her enough for providing us with this wondrous experience.
Amazing Property! Incredible views, very spacious and modern
Our group loved this property! Very nice main great room with updated kitchen and amazing views. Property was kept very clean and stocked with firewood. Our group made use of the outdoor fire pit and hiking trail right on the property. Plenty of beds to sleep the group and be comfortable. Would definitely rent again!
The hot tub was a perfect added bonus.
Great house, so much space, even for the biggest family. Will meet every expectation.
I would recommend this house to any type of visitor. Amazing views, beautiful rooms and the appliances were all top of the line. So happy we found this place.
