Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
- English, French
Trying to take care of my surroundings, I've been upgrading this property since it's acquisition, implementing solar panels to heat the hot water, radiant flooring system, rain water recuperation, and building and driving my electric car.
Nicolas purchased this Apartment in 2002
Why Nicolas chose Saint-Henri
What makes this Apartment unique
This is a quiet neighborhood where it's nice to spend time on the terrace. Being partly among the trees, you forget how close to downtown you really are. If you like the outdoors, we've got the biggest playground just a minute away: The lachine Canal and it's bike path.

Very nice apartment in a convenient location
We really enjoyed our stay. This apartment has everything you might need away from home. Kitchen is well furnished. It is nice to have a large back porch with chairs and grill. The reclining couch in the living room needs a mattress pad to cover it to be comfortable for sleep. We used the blanket instead of it after the first night to make it softer. We stayed in July, and the street was very quiet. We loved having a little grocery store on the same street, and the choice of restaurants and cafes on the buisier street within a walking distance.
Quaint accommodations with large terrace in quiet neighbourhood. Located near market, park and canal. Also near subway
Nicholas was very welcoming, nice and available to contact if any questions
Would stay again
Great location, great space
This is a lovely little apartment in St. Henri. It is also very quiet. I spent the month of October here while in Montreal and found it provided easy access to the Metro, the paths along the canal, and the shops and restaurants along Rue Notre-Dame.It was also easy to get to from the highway. The place was clean, nicely furnished and had everything that I needed. If you want to be close to downtown, but not in downtown, this is a great place to stay.
Not what we expected.
First let me say that Nicholas was very nice to us. We booked his place for three nights but left after spending only one as the apartment did not meet our expectations. He refunded us one nights stay which we appreciated. The apartment is in need of updating. The bed is a full mattress; I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall and couldn't fit on the bed properly. In fact I woke up with a sore neck from trying to scrunch up to fit under the covers. The shower is located in the bathtub and is also quite small with a shower curtain that you have to pull around the entire tub to ensure you don't flood the floor. Sheets, blankets and towels should be replaced and the overall feel was of a place that needed updating and to be honest a good cleaning. We stayed in a VRBO rental in Maui earlier this year and were expecting a similar level of comfort, but this apartment did not meet it.
Great apartment, great location!
This was my second time staying at Nicolas's place, and it was great, again. He is very accommodating and was available to answer any questions. The location is excellent and we really enjoyed our stay!
Located just meters away from the Lachine Canal bike path, you can go for kilometers be it by foot, rollerblade, bike, canoe, kayak, electric boat, even ice skates and cross-country skis in the winter, you choose.
