Hidden Village 679 is a large and spacious five bedroom and three and a half bathroom 2800 square foot end unit. This condo was remodeled in 2008, has spectacular views of Lone Mountain, and is the perfect condo for family vacation! Bedding configuration: king, king, queen, twin over double bunk bed, two twins, and one queen sofa sleeper, sleeps 13 MAX. Amenities include three TV's, three DVD's, complimentary WIFI service, wood burning fireplace, gas grill, indoor hot tub, Foosball table, garage, with access to a common area, seasonal, outdoor hot tub and pool.
We spent a week skiing and enjoyed coming back to a spacious and welcoming house. We were 13 adults (four "old" parents of 52-55, and 9 young adults from 19 to 26) but we never felt that the house was tight. Clean, well decorated and large (plenty of closets!), we immediately claimed it relaxing. Even with our large group, we could find privacy if we wanted, but everybody could also hang out together if we wanted to. We'd just hoped the dining table was larger so everybody could sit around. It is not the case and we had to split the group in two. We also would have liked bigger pots and pans. When a house is offered for 13 people, you may want to give the utensils for 13.
Another thing we did not like is the sofa bed in the rec room, with the hot tub. The noise of the hot tub makes it really hard to sleep, and after two nights, we had to move the mattress in another location to be able to sleep.
So maybe the house would be a better fit for 10-11 people only.
It is a 10 min drive from the mountain village and the ski runs. You can walk to the meadow village but not with kids. So you definitely need a car.
We had a leak problem and the response was VERY quick. 15-20 min after our morning phone call, someone was at the house to check on the problem. It was fixed in the next few hours. Very responsive!
