A stunning oasis of lush greenery and waterway, nestled in the high desert of Arizona.
A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life, to country living. Relax in our secluded, quiet, restful atmosphere, where the air is clean, the sky is blue, the sounds of nature are not forgotten and lush foliage and natural wildlife abound.
We wanted to have a fun weekend with our grandchildren and their parents. We're still talking about our weekend. All the kids were excited. The front yard has beautiful lush landscaping, a swing set,a pool and huge tree house actually built in the tree. We just let them go! The kids and parents were over the moon. We fished in the backyard creek! (With adult supervision) The house is the perfect ranch house, plenty of room to spread out. Dine in the large kitchen or the closed in patio. Flagstone floors and western decor set just the right mood. The home was furnished with every thing we needed. Your homemade jam is the best ever! Thank you April and Jean for a great time with our grandchildren. Nick and Sally,
What a beautiful, relaxing place to stay. Everything we needed was there. The home and grounds were lovely. Such beautiful "Green"! April and Jean were really busy at the time, we missed being able to visit with them, but they made sure whatever we needed was there. Thanks for bringing us the firewood, April, we so enjoyed our evening fires. We spent as much time as we could just hanging around the immediate area. Enjoyed my coffee by the creek every morning, listening to all the birds singing. I loved the homemade jams, they were delicious.
Seeing the GBH ,at his favorite spot, was the highlight of our trip. We looked for him every day and finally the day we were leaving he made his appearance. We got some beautiful closeups.
We made time to ride the Verde Canyon Railway, that was a pretty trip. We also enjoyed eating at "Up the Creek" and the "Grasshopper Grille" We didn't go explore all the many wineries, we're saving that for next time. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking to escape everyday reality. The road was a little rough coming in this time, didn't remember it being that way the first trip, but it's well worth the effort. Thanks for the beautiful memories, we look forward to coming again!
