I have a middle unit with the largest patio/balcony (over 300 sq ft) in the entire complex that overlooks the beach with year round sunset views.
Secure building and elevator with covered parking.
Apollo is the only private condominium building on the beach with restaurant and bar attached to the building. Restaurant was recently voted best happy hour on the island. The newly renovated 1 bedroom 1 bath unit has a Walk-In Shower, King Size bed with 2 tv’s, vcr and dvd player.
The unit comes with towels, bedding, dishes, pots, pans, and silverware, as well as beach supplies such as beach towels, sand toys, coolers, and sunchairs.
My unit also has high speed cable modem for internet access and Wi-Fi. "

We were there 5 nights just before Thanksgiving '14. Listing said internet; there was none. Listing said hair dryer; there wasn't one. South Florida has flying insects: both sliding screen doors were broken and leaning up against the sliding glass doors. Property management people said the owner had been contacted to authorize repairs to internet and screens, but had not responded. Minor annoyances: kitchen sink stopper broken, bath tub plug missing, no DVD instructions, minimal condiments. Have twice requested (email and voice mail) when the owner was returning our deposit; no responses and no deposit check returned as of 12/20. We have a VRBO unit in the Rockies which we would never! leave in condition like this one, and have had several good to excellent VRBO experiences when traveling. Not this one. Great location, lots of other places to choose from.
