Hi, my name is Juihsiang from Taiwan married to a French. As a city girl, I absolutely love this apartment with an excellent location. And I am sure that you will love it as much as I do. Enjoy Paris!
juihsiang chaudet purchased this apartment in 2010
When we are back to Paris we will live in this apartment which is to us the best location in Paris. It has everything that we can possibly dream of at a walking distance : good restaurants and fine food (Lucas Carton, Hediard, Fauchon, Laduree), historical monuments (Madeleine, Opera, Vendome, Concorde), great shopping (Galeries Lafayette and Printemps), luxury brands (rue du Faubourg St Honore) and theatre (Edouard VII and Olympia). It is also a few steps away from river Seine and Le Louvre museum. Everything is a few steps away, including the bike rent 'Velib' !
As soon as you enter the apartment, you feel like it is designed like a suite of a 5 star hotel : it is spacious, it is equiped with luxury furniture and amenities, it has a nice solid wood parquet and above all it suits perfectly the Art Deco style of the building. The Art Deco style of the apartment includes the Steiner branded furniture, the lighting on the ceiling, up to interruptors, switches and chrome plated door handles !
If I were to move to Paris, this is the kind of place I would want to live. At 80 square meters it's larger than many two bedroom flats in my neighborhood. I'm a solo traveler, but this would be a romantic place for a couple -- for its nice decor and its proximity to iconic Paris sights. For travelers with a lot of luggage, there's plenty of closet storage. Also a fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom with Turkish tile in the large shower stall. Check out the photos.
Spent 4 fun days in Paris and the apartment was a great base to get to all attractions - either on foot or by metro.
2 adults slept in the bedroom bed and 1 other adult in the pull out sofa which could have accommodated another adult. Having 1 1/2 bathrooms was an advantage.
Apartment has all the necessities, including linen, towels, and kitchen supplies. It even had 2 umbrellas that came in handy on a rainy day.
The hot water was more plentiful at certain hours of the day and the only I could have used in the kitchen was some paper towel - pretty minor.
The lobby concierges are not all English speaking and/or friendly, but they were accommodating and kept our luggage stored in a closet after we checked ot, as we had another day to spend in Paris prior to our flight.
The owner was responsive, communicated pleasantly and quickly and returned the security deposit just a few hours after we checked out.
We would definitely book I again, if we return to Paris.
We were promptly met upon our arrival by the very friendly manager who showed all we needed to know about the apartment. The bedroom is very spacious with a large and lovely bathroom. The living room and dining room are spacious with a small kitchen that has everything one needs in it.
Most importantly is its location, the metro station is right next to it, there is a market across the street and a bakery a couple of blocks away. The Opera Rainier is a couple of blocks away and all major shopping within walking distance. We love walking and found the Louvre, Champs Elysees are just minutes away, we walked to the Arc of Triumph one evening and it was wonderful.
I will go back to this place.
Great apartment！great location！definitely recommend to all my friends.
My husband and I stayed in this fabulous apartment for ten nights in December 2016. We have stayed in several other apartments in Paris and this is our favorite. It is spacious with lots of room to spread out. Having the extra half bathroom was very nice, too.
The photos are very true to how it looks. The apartment is well maintained and well stocked. Although we didn’t cook, there are tons of pots and pans. No oven, but a microwave and stove. The large refrigerator was nice for keeping our drinks and snacks cold.
We used the washing machine several times and found it to be very handy. I loved that the soap was stocked so I didn’t have to bring or buy my own. This was the first time we’ve had a separate dryer – loved that!
The entire place is very well stocked from paper towels to toilet paper, hand soap to dish soap, tons of bath towels – especially nice since most places give you only one per person! There was even a closet with tape and bubble wrap if you needed it for wrapping your souvenirs to get home safely.
We didn’t get to use the balconies since it was winter, but I can imagine they would be fabulous in nice weather!
If I had to come up with one negative, I guess it would be that the water temperature in the beautiful, huge shower wasn’t very hot. It seemed to get better as our stay went by, so not really a complaint.
As others have said, the location is terrific. We walk a lot but we also take the Metro often, especially in cold weather. The Madeleine stop is just a block away with three different lines. It’s a quick walk up the street to Galleries Lafayette and the other department stores. There’s a handy Monop directly across the street for groceries.
Very good response time from Juihsiang and her sweet assistant Cindy. We would not hesitate to stay here again!
Great place. We were met on time and when we had a question we were able to the host right away. Very quiet. Walk to Champs Elysee. Transportation is very close like 1/2 a block. Only complaint is that the mattress was very thin and not super comfortable. If we were in our 20's maybe we wouldn't have cared but being much older than that, it bothered us. Overall it was a very good apartment and we enjoyed our trip.
