Beautiful Cabin in the Heart of Nature
My family, including my 3, 5 and 7 year old boys had a wonderful time at the Cabin. Doug was great with communication. We saw over one hundred deer during our visit, made a day trip to Lookout Mountain, fishes in the river, enjoyed S’mores by the fire and created some wonderful memories. The roads within with community are very narrow and can be confusing, especially at night, but you get the hang out if after a day or so. We truly enjoyed our stay!
Honeymooners
Everything was perfect.
Apple Festival
We had a wonderful stay during our weekend visiting the apple festival. The cabin was absolutely beautiful.
Wonderful trip!
It was quite the drive once we were in the resort and difficult to find after dark (thanks to traffic jambs in Atlanta) but worth the drive! Everything was spotless, but there was a bug problem in the kitchen.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are already making plans to return. The house was comfy and well stocked. It was relaxing to sit on the deck and watch the deer and geese come and go. Being at the end of the road, there was no traffic.
Would recommend chairs or big logs to sit on around the fire pit.
Great family vacation spot
We love staying in the Coosawattee River Resort. My family had a wonderful vacation. Doug’s cabin was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in.
The steps going to the riverside yard are a little steeper than the picture makes it seem. However, the front (roadside) stairs are much easier (fewer steps) and an easy/level walk around the yard/side of house was much easier for my older father. We enjoyed coffee and drinks on the porch/river side every day. We enjoyed fishing the river and the resort fishing pond/riverside park.
The mattresses are showing some wear, but it did not keep us from enjoying our trip.
Also, several of us took a turn soaking in the beautiful claw foot tub. Such a nice bonus.
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every meal. And the linens, extra pillows and extra blankets were plentiful.
