This studio apartment has been recently remolded and has one carpeted bedroom area that will comfortably sleep two people -- there are two twin beds with a king bed option -- see photos. There is a separate large bathroom (tub, shower, vanity) and a kitchen-dining area.
Amenities and extras include a wall-mounted HDTV, Blue-Ray DVD player in the bedroom, a well appointed kitchen (apartment-size refrigerator, two burner gas cooktop, microwave, cooking utensils and tableware), commercial grade gas barbecue, linens and towels, clothes washer and dryer, beach chairs, towels and umbrella.
Nearby activities are within walking distance or a short drive: first-rate boutiques and galleries, incredible restaurants, museums, world-renowned attractions (San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea World, Scripps Aquarium), diverse sightseeing (Gas Lamp Quarter, Old Town, Tijuana, Mexico), first-class public golf (Torrey Pines Golf Course), public tennis courts and Olympic size swimming pool, fitness clubs, wildlife viewing (whales, seals, tide pools), ocean kayaking, deep-sea/surf/freshwater fishing, snorkeling-Scuba diving, surfing.
Beautiful and picturesque, La Jolla's possibilities for adventure are as limitless as your imagination. High atop the cliffs, golfers tee off on world-class courses, while sightseers explore caves, museums and other intriguing landmarks.

La Jolla is our home and this vacation rental allows us to meet travelers from all over the world. Some guests return again and again. La Jolla is truly an international vacation destination and we hope all our guests have an enjoyable and memorable stay.
Michael and Lisa were fabulous hosts. The apartment was comfortable and cozy with special touches such as cupcakes for my birthday and Peets coffee and the newspaper in the morning. The garden space was inviting and comfortable to drink our am coffee. Bed was comfortable.
We hope to visit LA Jolla again soon.

Beautiful place in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for a couple. Our host were very gracious. Will definitely book this place again. Extremely well furnished, very comfortable. We enjoyed eating on the patio by the gas fire pit.
Our experience was wonderful. We had everything we needed to enjoy a week in La Jolla with our son and his family without being under their feet (and roof) 24-7. Just far enough off the the beaten path to be tranquil. Our hostess and host could not have been more pleasant! The patio garden was exactly what I was looking for and the quality of the entire place was well appreciated. Perfect!
Our host Lisa and her husband were absolutely wonderful people. They made us feel welcome and answered any questions we had at any time. Questions that we had were about what restaurants to go to or other places we should check out. A nice touch was we received the newspaper every morning at our door step :) It was our honey moon and she thoughtfully provided us with two small bottles of campaign for us to celebrate. No oven, but stove top and the BBQ were more than sufficient. Access to shared washer and dryer has very helpful as well. Being able to relax in the backyard and watch to humming birds come to feed was also a nice relaxing atmosphere. Their son lives in the studio above the one being rented, and he is very friendly yet very quiet and were not disturbed in the least by them. There was no couch, or sofa chair in the studio, for relaxing we went outside in the garden and used the patio furniture. Thank-you very much for being such gracious hosts.
This little gem of a studio has a central quiet location in a very beautiful neighborhood. Everything about the property was well cared for. The studio is tucked away from any noise in a cute courtyard. Inside it was immaculately appointed with lots and lots of light. The bedding and towels were A-1 quality. You can tell the owners are very proud of their property by the details. Lisa was so welcoming and laid out for us lemon pound cake mini muffins, bottled water, fresh flowers and the morning newspaper. Absolutely loved it and will stay again thank you Lisa!
I rented the studio for a few days in July 2016. It was immaculate and set up very well for single person or pipe to stay. Very well kept. Even tho the unit had no a/c I didn't even feel the least bit uncomfortable with the fans provided and the cool breezes from ocean that come through the studios many windows. I would stay here again. Owners are extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful.

Damage protection for the following a) repair damages caused by renter, or by a guest of renter; b) extra cleaning of the property, if necessary, excluding ordinary wear and the ordinary cleaning covered by the cleaning fee; c) replacement or return of personal property of the property; d) failure to comply with the non-smoking and no pet terms.
City of San Diego Transient Occupancy Registration Certificate Number 615663. The renter is required to pay a 10.50% Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) and a 0.55% Tourism Marketing District (TMD) assessment for stays less than 30 consecutive days. The renter is not responsible for TOT tax for stays longer than 30 days.
