Once you step into Tahoma Lodge you will know you are home! Tahoma is a 1200 SF quiet, roomy townhouse in the popular, heavily wooded Lake Village area. The home is nicely furnished and has two comfy Cal King beds as well as an additional sofa bed in the living room. The master has its own bath and 32 ' flat screen TV with remote. The second bedroom has a Cal King bed. and 40 flat color TV The living room has an additional quality queen sized sofa bed and a 40' flat screen TV.We have a gas fireplace & gas BBQ on our woodsy private deck.

Tahoma has Free WIFI, Dish network, and a private indoor Hot tub and a two car attached garage.There is a washer dryer in the home, a 32 'flat TV w/ remote in each bedroom,and a completely equipped kitchen w/microwave, crockpot, pots and everything for your cooking needs. As our guest you have the use of our clubhouse amenities which include a Ping pong and Pool table, saunas and when the snow melts, a heated swimming pool, tennis, courts and deluxe kids play area.

Tahoma is a short walk from the forest and trails for winter snow hikes and casual hiking/biking during other Tahoe seasons. The home overlooks the mountains of Heavenly Valley. As our guest, you have use of the Lake Village heated pool, (Summer/Fall) Tennis courts, ping pong and pool tables, saunas,showers, restrooms, picnic area BBQ fire pit, and deluxe kids play areas.

Located in a forested quiet area yet is located approximately 1 mile from the Heavenly gondola, we are across the highway from a nice meadow and the Lake. Tahoma is within a mile of the beaches and shopping, a 24 hour gym,a Safeway Grocery supermarket, 24 hour gym Subway sandwich shop and a Dollar store. There is a visitors information center right down the highway across from the Lakeside Inn/casino.. Carson City is 22 miles down the road with major chains such as a Super Walmart, Costco and department stores

In addition to gaming, shopping and local star studded entertainment Tahoe offers a wide range of activities.Hiking biking, river rafting, horseback riding, fishing and water activities abound in the spring, summer and fall. Tahoe’s record breaking snowfalls afford an incredible array of adventure including; snow tubing, boarding, downhill skiing, cross country, snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, ice skating, nostalgic sleigh rides, winter carnivals, or perhaps just snuggling up to a crackling fireplace with a warm beverage and a good book.

Amenities:In addition to the use of our clubhouse amenities listed above, we have games and books as well as a video and book supply. We have Dish network with 140+ stations for viewing. Our sheets and linens are clean and comfortable

Heavenly Gondola is slightly over one mile from our door. Edgewood Golf Course 1/2 mile..Safeway Grocery store and Round Hill shopping center 1/4 mile up the road Round Hill beach is 3/4 mile, 24 hour Gym and Subway Sandwich shop 1/4 mile up the road.

Other activities include:Skiing, Hiking, biking gaming, entertainment, boating, fishing, shopping, para sailing, ballooning, white water rafting, dining, vegging out...

You name it and you can do it in Tahoe! The bottom line is we are in a very quiet location yet conveniently close to all of Tahoe's many activities. What makes this townhome unique

We have taken extra care to provide the extra amenities that make this a home away from home. This includes WIFIi Dish Network,a private hot tub, a gas BBQ on the deck, comfortable beds, washer and dryer,a fully equipped kitchen from Range oven and microwave to blenders, crock pots and spices. The little things are covered too, including a hair dryer, washer and dryer and soap to handle your laundry. There is a TV in each bedroom as well as the living room area. Our roomy 2 car garage provides security and shade for you vehicle in the summer and a welcome reprieve from the Snow in the winter months.

For the price of a hotel room you will get a fully furnished 1200 SF home in a QUIET location with everything you need to save money on your vacation

Tahoma Lodge- excellent venue for a holiday

The lodge is easy to find and in a great location for for a peaceful rest after a busy day. The lodge is clean and well equipped. The owner provides excellent instructions for access to the lodge and internet, and phoned to check we had arrived safely and left information on how we could contact her easily if needed( we did not encounter any issues that required contact). I would recommend the lodge to family or friends and would return again if holidaying in the area.

Fantastic

This property

the Tahoma is one of 3 properties that Nancy owns in Lake Village and is a fantastic place to stay.

Imagine waking up in the morning or after a good rain and taking in the wonderful smell of pine through your lungs on the back deck and the birds singing. It doesn't get any better than that. Our family is on our 3rd generation of spending time in Lake Tahoe. We have been staying at the Tahoma since 2011. The only things you need to bring is yourself and your clothes. This is a home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and such comfortable beds. The home is so well maintained and very clean. The location you can't beat. 5 minutes from shopping at Heavenly Village or if you are a skier to the slopes, 5 minutes to the beaches, restaurants, grocery stores, a beautiful golf course and 20 minutes over to Genoa Nevada. Location is perfect.

Not to mention Nancy is great with suggestions you may have. She throughly follows up. Any concerns she's so on top of things. She will call to make sure everything is to your satisfaction.

We won't stay anywhere else! Thank you Nancy for allowing us to stay in your home.. See you next year:)

Gorgeous

The rental property is beautiful and very neatly maintained.

It has all the required amenities. We never felt like going away :)

We will be looking forward to visiting the place again.

Advantages:

1. 5 min drive to Gondola

2. 5 min drive to water sports @south lake tahoe

3. 5 min drive to Nevada Beach

4. Quite surroundings

5. Clean & well maintained

Great Location and a nice complex but very dated unit!

This condo is in a great location! Close to everything and located in a nice complex. The unit itself is a bit dated and comes with pages and pages of laminated, bold faced and highlighted rules posted all over the house! As a home owner and a landlord I definitely understand having rules and setting clear expectations but this was over the top! I don't need bold faced type, highlighted AND underlined to understand that rules are important. The same rules that were highlighted, underlined and bold faced in my contract. One thing that definitely needs to be fixed is the capacity of the hot water heater! This unit sleeps 8.... We had 4 people there and didn't take long showers and it didn't even have the capacity to handle that! Not sure if the laminated note that was left there was meant to be funny or if it was a true ask.... But it says to limit showers to two minutes max! Are you kidding me?? I'm on vacation and need to take a shower quicker than I do at home? Who takes a two minute shower?? Is this a military installation or a relaxing getaway? Overall we had a nice time but were too worried about all the rules in the house to really enjoy it and relax.

Owner's Response: We appreciate all comments from our guests as they often provide suggestions that we can address in making our home more comfortable everyone. We are gratified the reviewer believed Tahoma was in a “great location close to everything and in a nice complex.” Although the writer indicates our home is ”a bit dated,” there are no specific suggestions. In the past 6 months we have upgraded to pillow top king beds in both bedrooms, a new microwave, coffee pot, refrigerator, and more. Although we send the renting party a contract indicating some basic requirements about parking and clubhouse information, the other 4-5 guests normally do not have an opportunity to view this information. Consequently, in a three foot square area foot square area on the hallway adjacent to the front door we have placed the Douglas county ordinance required signs. Those signs include the owner’s rental license, information about emergency contacts, check out procedures, and a sign indicating that our home is a “no smoking” home. We have also placed an informational sheet indicating how to operate the fireplace, where the electrical breakers are located, safety information, and a warning against jumping on the beds/sofa bed. The information provided in these signs is designed to make the guest have a safe trouble free visit. We have become aware of children being injured due to jumping on the beds and recently one or two adults broke a heavy duty king bed frame jumping on it. Upstairs I have a book for our guests titled “Information about Tahoe and our home” These pages are also laminated and they provide information on beach locations, grocery shopping, and other information about some Tahoe activities. In this book there is information regarding the Internet and Hot water heater with some suggestions to follow if our 40 gallon hot water runs low. Those suggestions include doing the laundry and running the dishwasher in the late evening or early morning after the showers completed. We also suggest staggering showers and if this is not feasible limit the time of showers down to 2 minutes if there are multiple guests taking showers. The signs in our home are designed to provide a safe carefree vacation. We are sorry that the signs worried or offended this guest.

Great property in a convenient location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property was very close to Heavenly Village, casinos and markets. The property was clean and Nancy provided everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in Tahoe.

Great location, VERY clean

This is a great location to stateline. It was easy to walk to the casinos, restaurants and to Heavenly. We had an issue with the fireplace and Nancy got back to me very quickly to resolve the issue.

I was amazed at the cleaning crew, no dust anywhere and the bathrooms were sparkling clean.

Would stay there again!
