Why Teri Smith chose Wrigleyville
This is not your typical cookie-cutter rental; my personality & style shines through! My goal has always been to have my Guests experience the sense of having arrived ‘home’ when they walk through the door---to feel as comfortable & relaxed here in Chicago as they do their own home.
What makes this Guest House unique
The Guest House on Lakewood Avenue has three apartments, each floor can be rented separately or rent them together for larger gatherings--up to 21. It's great to all be under one roof, without being on top of one another--the three separate spaces offer privacy when you need it. And best of all--the little piece of nature outside the back door. The garden is private & peaceful--perfect place to decompress, relax and enjoy.
Minimum age of primary renter:30
All Guests are required to sign a rental agreement.
I do not charge the $500 damage deposit--- I require a credit card on file in the event there is damage done or the lease terms have been violated.
100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date. 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
Great place, great location!
Outstanding city flat with an old-school Chicago look, layout and feel. Stocked with everything you might need and more! Great pillows, cozy kitchen and light-filled living room made our Thanksgiving family gathering a joy.
Short stay, left wanting more time
Our only regret is we wished we had more time to spend visiting and relaxing in this comfortable and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed our one night. Highly recommend for your Chicago stay.
Wish you could have stayed longer too! NEXT TIME!
Great place even better hosts
Very convenient to Wrigley
Hey William--sure is!
Just wish we could have pulled it out to keep going to the ballpark in October. Sad day losing ol' Joe Maddon. :o(
Hope to have you back again next season!
Labor Day Chicago Getaway
We had a very fun Labor Day weekend in Chicago. We rented the second floor apartment and it was great.
The apartment was clean and stocked with all of the amenities, like shampoo, soap, toilet paper and paper towels.
The beds were comfortable and we experienced no problems. More importantly, we met the owner and she was very engaging and interested in our trip being a success. We find it comforting when the owner shows interest in their property and their guest.
Location, location, location. This house is located just off Waveland Ave. making it an easy walk to Wrigley but far enough away to let you get away from the Clark Street party when you want to. It also had great access to a grocery store and nice restaurants within walking distance. With a garage to park our car we did not need to drive at all once we arrived.
We highly recommend staying at the Chicago Guest House with Teri Smith on your next trip to Wrigleyville!
Cam---thank you so much for writing such a nice review!
Glad I had the chance to meet you in person. People are so busy with activities that I don't always get to say "Hi!"
And yes, you picked a great location ---close to everything this lively neighborhood has to offer, but not too close! Baseball, restaurants, theaters, shopping---we have it all!
Hope that you find your way back again one day soon!
Outstanding. location, accommodations, check in and out
Hey Dennis--outstanding works for me!
Thanks for that.
Hope you return one, day and NEXT time, I'll child-proof the place myself! :o)
We couldn’t have asked for a better place!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Teri was so easy to work with, the property was well kept and appointed, and located to plenty of shops, restaurants, and most importantly Wrigley Field!
Jessica--I'm so happy you enjoyed staying in Wrigleyville! It's such a great neighborhood---so much to enjoy even when the Cubbies aren't playing at home. You're one of the few people who stayed for a week, so I know you really got to explore!
Hope to have you come stay again.
