Not what I expected
First of all driving to a office to get a key when there’s a lock box on the home door was so inconvenient especially after driving 8.5 hours. Second the home was clean besides the fact that black ants was all throughout the home. The house wasn’t ready for my family and I because there was no cooking supplies as of large pots and pans for a family of 7( we had to go buy our own), no toiletries, about four wash clothes but the house suppose to be able to fit up to 8 people smh. I rent homes out on a regular basis and I’ve never had these problems. This definitely would not be a house I’ll rent again.
Nice home that fit our needs. Perfect place to relax and close to Disney etc.

The employees at advantage vacation homes were very rude when explaining things ... this was our first time with this company and we will not use them again charges on my account were not correct and the gave me the run around when I tried to contact someone about it the mans name was Patrick and he was very rude and yelled at me on the phone all I needed was information on the charges he flat out lied to me and I was very disappointed with the whole booking process they need better customer service employees
No pool heat
We were very disappointed that our pool heat would not work. Because we did not know if it would be needed dependent on the weather, we waited until we arrived to call to have our pool heat turned on. We were not there when they said they would turn it on but came home to no pool heat. We received no call about why it wasn’t turned on and since it was Friday afternoon when they were supposed to come, we had to wait until Monday to speak with someone from the office. When I called, I was told the heat didn’t work and that wouldn’t be charged for it. Of course we wouldn’t be paying an extra fee for heat that doesn’t work! But, no discount was offered on the rental due to being unable to use the pool until I requested something, considering that is why rented this house. I ended up being given $30 back, which I do not feel is adequate for what we paid to be there. I emailed the manager about this twice and got no response. The lack of customer service for this company is very frustrating.
Be aware that if you stay over a weekend when they have nobody working in their office and need something, they will charge you for any call they do not feel is a real emergency. Overall, the rest of the house was clean but needed some updating such a new mattresses (very uncomfortable) and paint.
Holly decided on pool heat after she checked in has she stated. Unfortunately the pool heat had a malfunction which would not be corrected during her stay. We have always advice our guest to inquire about and request pool heat at the time of booking to ensure the service will be available. Because it is an additional cost to owners not all homes offer pool heat thus if it is not requested upfront it is not a given guarantee that it will be available. I sent Holly an email in which I apologized for the inconvenience and had the conversation with her that had she requested pool heat at the time of booking the outcome would have been different. I also adjusted her rent rate down by 10% as well as a 15% discount on any future direct bookings. She was happy with the concessions we made until she discovered that the 10% didn’t amount to much given her short stay.
While we strive to make our guest happy and try to reach the best possible outcome, we are not in business to just give it away at the expense of our owners. We have come to realize we can’t please all the people all the time.
