Families are welcome at this luxury vacation rental destination. Sleeps up to 6. The minimum night stay is 7 nights -- we will consider less than 7 nights when the arrival is less than two months out, then the minimum night stay is 2 nights.

Also if Vista #3 Penthouse is booked -- we may have Vista #1 (which is directly below Vista #1) available.

Born in St. John's Newfoundland, Canada. Lived in Brockport & Rochester, New York for 45 years before moving to Anna Maria Island. Graduated from Brockport High School and then Rochester Institute of Technology. Attended Harvard University's SCMP program. Licensed private pilot, past president of Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce, director of Manatee Chamber of Commerce, past president of Florida Bed & Breakfast Association, Served four years in the Air Force. With my wife Jo, we are owners of Island Real Estate and Harrington House Beachfront Bed & Breakfast (operated by son Mark).

Review of Property for Week of Feb 15-22, 2011

A beautiful three-bedroom condo in a great location. It is spacious, with significant features that are probably better than your own home. Master BR and bath that has multi-directional shower heads and jacuzzi. Two other BR's that share a bathroom. One king bed and two queens. A third bath in hallway leading to BR's. Living area spacious enough for six guests. Lovely balcony large enough to accomodate six guests with a sunset view. Our unit was on second floor, accessible by elevator. Adequate parking.

A heated pool and hottub are part of the four unit building. The walk to the beach is very short, suitable for older guests. Beach chairs available for you. The beach is north of the busier areas to the south, so it is not over-populated.

The temperatures were generally in the 75 degree range during the day, and 55 degree range in the evenings. There are multiple restaurants nearby, all very nice, but guests need a car. Only a few restaurants are within walking distance. The island shuts down early, about 9 pm, but Sarasota is nearby.

Highly recommended for relaxing times at the beach.
