We Love Sapphire Beach and Marina, It has so much to offer. We fall in love the first time we visited. The building surrounded by palm trees and the amazing scenery, islands and turquoise waters... Breathtaking views! Once you enter our condo, you can see the turquoise waters through the window... but the best part of all is stepping out into the Beach. The fact that you can open the sliding doors and put your feet on the sand is priceless. Say no more... we can't wait to go back...

Why Fabio chose Estate Smith Bay

St Thomas has a lot to offer. You can find a secluded beach, amazing coral reef, duty-free shopping with the best brands and great gourmet food. Sapphire is a great resort. The people are kind and helpful. The beach is amazing and one of the best for snorkeling in the island. Our condo not only is on the beach side of the resort, but also is protected from the wind and sun. Even more, the fact that it is beach level, allows us to open the door and BAM! feet on the sand.

What makes this condo unique

While staying at our property, you enjoy the fact that you can walk to the reef and snorkeling right there. Even more, there are no steps to get to the beach.. Also, for those who like or have to work there is WIFI in the room included in the rate. Decorated in a unique comfortable modern and stylish way.

Beautiful spot

We have stayed at Sapphire Beach before, but not in B106. The view is beautiful, all amenities are provided, and it's very close to the pool, beach bar, and swimming area. We had a few minor issues during our 8-day stay, but Kathleen was extremely helpful and quick to assist. Remember, when the power goes out, this is common on all of the islands. There is a pull out sofa which accommodated our 13-year-old nicely. Most of the condos at the beach show some age, salt water and humidity will do that! We would happily rent this condo again.

Great Spot!!

Condo and amenities are excellent and I would highly reccomend this unit as you are literally steps from the beach. Also, the property manager, Kathleen, was extremely helpful and prompt with any questions we had. For those of you considering where to stay, Sapphire beach is the number 1 spot. I used to live on the island and it is, in my opinion, the best spot on the island. Minutes from Red Hook, restaurants, bars, and the ferrys to St John and BVIs. Roll Tide

Absolutely PERFECT!

The accommodations were just as presented (GORGEOUS) plus Emi was fantastic in assisting me as needed with any questions I had promptly but was never intrusive. Doors opened right onto the beach plus we had snorkel gear and a cooler waiting for us to use as soon as we got in! We rented this condo for a wedding of a friend/ girls trip and couldn't have made a better decision. We had maid service once on our stay of (6 days/5 nights) and she was AWESOME! She did such a wonderful job and gave us great insight on where to find local gems (restaurants/etc). This location had it all; beach front, $5 (5min) cab ride to the restaurants/bars/ferry (Red Hook) yet far enough to avoid hearing the parties all night. Coki Beach was about a 15min cab ride and one of my favorite beaches we visited! FULL service; chairs, food service, drinks, water sports gear plus we even saw 2 Rays. We had groceries delivered which worked beautifully and saved us a few precious vacation hours. This was the perfect location and condo for us girls!!!

Sapphire Beach Resort Under Construction - Not Recommended

Arrived on July 27th, 2016 and were greeted by jack hammering noise. We thought it was something temporary , but come to find out the entire resort is under construction and has been now for several years. The accommodations are nice and the condo has just about everything you need. However, the next morning we were awakened by jack hammering noise a t 8:30am. They apparently just started renovating the building complex next door (about 80 feet away from our unit) and have been showering us with jack hammering noise ever since. Sunday was the only day of peace and quite. As you can imagine, you can not hear a single beautiful tropical sound. This is a heart burn for all the visitors in B building. Not only are they redoing the buildings, the pool is in total disarray! Half of it is shut down and not accessible. I have been told by property management that this will continue for at least 4 months. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you plan on booking any time soon. I did reach out to the owner, but he/she showed little empathy for the situation. The construction was known and was just not mentioned nor communicated at the time of our rental. Lesson learned! I hope the owner will include this information for future renters. Unfortunately, we are in this for just 5 days and have another 10 to go. I have been renting from VRBO for many years and rent all across the globe. When you go to an exotic location, the last thing you think of is jack hammering. The owner should inform you of things like this. Very dissappointed!

Location is best asset

We took a family trip to Sapphire Delmar. We rented a car, which I highly recommend for St Thomas in general. It took about 30-45 minutes from the airport. Just a tip, GPS work on phones even if you don't have service on the island! That was very helpful, as roads are not marked well. The owner and manager were both reachable before we arrived. The condo is located in the Sapphire Beach Resort. There are 4 buildings (A-D), this one is on the ground level of the B building. There is free parking outside of the building. The condo itself is one long studio, with the patio doors acting as the source of light. The convenience of being on the ground floor, a few feet away from the water, was truly the best asset of the condo. The beach was clean with good snorkeling. The condo itself is dated, but clean. Double sink, shower (no tub), toiletries, safe, phone, king-sized bed, full kitchen, flat screen TV with satellite stations, fold out sofa, snorkeling gear, beach towels, and sand toys were provided. Minor things that were an inconvenience, depending on your level of tolerance on vacation: condo was a bit dark and one of the light fixtures was broken the entire time (manager stated unable to fix); no dish soap/sponge so bring/buy your own; internet connection was slow and intermittent, had to restart the router several times a day. We used the laundry machines at the marina which was sufficient. The pool was small, cold, empty. I would suggest perhaps having a binder of local restaurants/delivery, map, suggestions, contact info as these things were difficult to obtain with the spotty internet. I recommend in Red Hook - Fresh Market for produce/wine/beer, Lattes in Paradise for morning coffee/breakfast, Pesce for a nice Italian dinner. Overall, we had a great trip with minor inconveniences that I wish could've been resolved.
