The condo comes with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, King bed in the master ,twin beds in the second bedroom, Direct TV, stereo, Washer and Dryer , and complimentary WiFi. Great Ocean breezes will find you enjoying morning coffee or evening Mai Tai's overlooking the sparkling pool and BBQ area. A/C is included. The property is located just south of downtown Kailua Kona very near a popular surf spot, Banyan Trees. There is a convenience store within walking distance and grocery stores, shops , entertainment and restaurants within a couple of miles. This island is Hawaii's best kept secret. There are plenty of things to see and do on this island. The island has 11 different climates. Activities from leisure, adventure, thrill seeking can be done on this island and all just a short distance from my condo.

The night life in Kona is full of music, happy hours and family friendly dinning. Some of the most fun dining is at the condo pool area where there are plenty of barbecues to be enjoyed.

Hi. My name is Jolynn. I fell In love with Kona during a family vacation for the holidays. I like the big island of Hawaii because the atmosphere is very laid back. There are plenty of activities to do, market to shop and beaches to hang out at. I like to have a place which can offer many choices of activities for kids, adults and older adults. This is the island for that and the condo is located near many attractions.

Why Bridget Smith chose Kona Coast

This property is newly remodeled and never had been rented out before. The complex manager is wonderful and the property is clean and maintained. I love the location right across from the beach and either direction you can walk or drive to an activity or town. This property is also very quiet. The unit is well maintained and can accommodate any ones need. There are steps to the unit or an elevator.

What makes this condo unique

I fell in love with this property because of the location and the view from the lanai.The sunsets are amazing and I can not wait to go back but most of all to share this with people who want to experience Kona. I feel blessed.

AMAZING CONDO!!!! We are so impressed we spent half a day re booking flights for the family at Christmas and booked the condo then..Plus we are talking about spring again ... LOVED IT THANKS TO THE OWNER AND HER NEW AMAZING MANAGERS....

Terrible

We had an absolutely terrible experience at the Royal Kahili within 24 hours we found 16 cockroaches YES 16! The unit we stayed in was extremely dated the bathrooms were disgusting, the kitchen was poorly stocked the kitchen wares were worn and tired, the bed linen was old and poor quality and the flooring was old and dirty!

The common areas were nice, the location was good, the ocean view from our crappy unit was good.

Maybe other units are good but be careful which unit you stay in, don't be disappointed like we were!

Owner's Response: I am certain that this guest did not stay at my property. My condo has a updated kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms have been updated within the last 10 years and carpet is only 3 years old. I replace the linens at least every year and sometimes sooner if needed. I believe that a future guest should look at the pictures of my condo before they believe these comments that are unrelated to my condo.

We would not stay here again. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty, so we placed all the dishes in the dishwasher to clean them. The room with the two beds was dusty and dirty. This room also had a torn up screen so you could not open the window. They screen was eventually replaced. We informed our contact the room was dusty and dirty. No response. So we decided to clean it ourselves, the vacuum did not have a bag. We asked for a bag and we were given a vacuum. WE ended up cleaning the room. The pool deck is very slippery = dangerous.

Owner's Response: I do feel so sorry for this guest. She did check in a little early after the previous guest checked out late. The condo was cleaned in the 3 hours provided by 2 persons, but the furniture was not moved. Unfortunately the twin bed head board had been damaged slightly and pieces of it had fallen on the carpet. The guest had asked for bags for the vacuum, but since it had not been used in years I made the decision to bring them a new vacuum. They were also provided new window screens for the guest bedroom windows on there second day of stay. It was a great idea to replace the torn window screens, but unnecessary with the air conditioner on. Of course the elderly man was offered to have the condo re cleaned and unfortunately he said no, his daughter would do it. The guest was also provided extra paper goods upon request. I would ask that all guests wear shoes or slippers around the pool deck. It is a tile rated for pool decks, but when wet like most surfaces it doesn't hurt to have a little more traction.

Little extras make a difference

We were 2 couples travelling from Australia. Kona was our first stop in Hawaii so we were unsure what to expect in terms of scenery, facilities or accommodation. The unit worked well for us having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a comprehensive kitchen. We were also very impressed by all the little extras - snorkeling equipment, beach towels, reef shoes, kitchen supplies etc which were available for our use. We also appreciated having bbq facilities on site for our use. Whilst we mostly self catered, we did have one lunch at Da Poke Shack which is just down the road and would highly recommend it.

Kailua Kona

Pleasantly surprised when we opened the door and entered! Found accommodations to be most acceptable. Close to the action and far enough away not to be disturbed by the hustle and bustle of the city life. The ocean view was great and so was the sound of the waves against the rocks. Close to snorkeling, sandy beaches and lots of historical sights. The condo was well stocked and almost every time we wondered if an item was there, it was; from rain umbrella to pool toys to beach mats and more. Staff was polite, available, eager to answer questions and make recommendations. We can hardly wait to visit again!
