The enchantment of Parisian living with the luxury of modern amenities.

Located at the foot of the 'village' of Montmartre, the apartment was recently remodeled to preserve the original charm dating back to 1869, while providing for a comfortable stay in the city of lights. With over 900 square feet and two large bedrooms, guests have plenty of room to relax and make themselves at home. Five glass double doors bathe the apartment in sunlight and allow access to two separate balconies that run the length of the apartment. The living room seating area provides two couches as a comfortable space to recount the day's adventures. A well appointed kitchen and dining table for 6 people allow for a home cooked meal of local ingredients purchased from neighborhood markets. The original wooden floors will tell you the tales of Montmatre's days gone by, while a short walk up the hill through the lively village of Montmartre will find you at the foot of Sacre Coeur, providing for a stunning view of the entire city.

In the village of Montmarte, there are numerous cafés, boutiques, restaurants, renowned pâtisseries and chocolate shops.

The apartment is located on the French second (American third) floor of a walk-up building. Three useful metro lines (#2, 4, and 12) For arrivals from the Eurostar, Gare du Nord is a ten minute metro ride to the apartment.

Additional amenities include wifi (now with fiber-optic speed) and phone calls to landlines in more than 50 countries. All bedding, linens, and towels are provided.

Why Luke chose 18th Montmartre

After an exhaustive property search in the city we love (honestly over 40 apartments visited), we were thrilled to become the owners of our own little 'Château' apartment. From the first step on the original wooden floors of Château Montmartre, we were enamoured with the charm and detail that could only be found in such an authentic place. The atmosphere transported us everyday from the hustle of the city life below, to the decadent days of French gilded mirrors and marble fireplaces.

What makes this apartment unique

We decided to take on the challenge of self-managing a few updates to allow for a comfortable lifestyle. With an expanded, modern kitchen, and a spa-inspired bathroom, we believe the apartment offers the best of both worlds.

Quaint French apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were very comfortable. The apartment had a nice kitchen with everything we needed to feel at home. The beds were also very comfortable. The only thing that was difficult was the bath is in the master bedroom and the toilet is in a different area of the house. Luke was very easy to work with when making preparations for our stay. We would definitely stay again when we return to Paris.

Perfect Place for the Perfect Price!

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris in all ways--price, location, comfort.

PRICE: For the very reasonable cost (an entire 8 nights cost the same per person as maybe 2 nights in a hotel). The three of us all felt as if we had our own space in the apartment (two bedrooms and the pullout in the living room) and enjoyed the common space in the evenings when we could bring home a dinner or sit around the table before bed having champagne. Overall, the apartment is very cute and spacious for Europe and gives you the amenities that you just don't get in hotels. The full kitchen was great because we were able to buy/store some breakfast items (as we were often out the door before most cafe's opened) and were able to have morning coffee. While there is a TV, we didn't use it because...well, you're in PARIS! Additionally, the apartment comes with a washer/dryer. While we didn't end up using it, had we known that this was included we may have packed a little lighter and washed our outfits half way through. Either way--it's incredibly nice to have just in case you accidentally spill a delicious Nutella crepe on your white shirt.

LOCATION: Two of us had never been to Paris before and we planned to do many of the tourist things. This apartment was right next to a few metro lines so it was very easy to get around the city and go everywhere we wanted to--we didn't take any taxis except to and from the airport. Additionally, it's so close to Sacre Couer and the Montmartre area that you could easily spend a day just walking around that neighborhood and getting lost in shops and cafes.

COMFORT: Luke and Caroline were also amazing to work with. Luke was very informative and sends you plenty of information prior to your trip so that you feel safe and prepared upon arrival. Caroline was also very helpful in answering questions about the apartment and even set up taxis to take us to the airport. Both were extremely responsive to our emails or questions during our stay, which made us feel very comfortable.

In the end, we had never been to Paris before so really weren't sure where we should or where we wanted to stay. However, this apartment completely met our needs. If you're like us--this is a great rental!

Beautiful apartment in up-and-coming neighborhood

This is an extremely charming 2BR apartment with a great modern kitchen / bathroom and other amenities including washer/dryer, on the outskirts of the Monmartre hill. We loved our stay and had no complaints. As other reviewers noted the block directly around the apartment is not really for tourists, but just a 5 minute walk up the hill is a lovely street with bustling restaurants, bars, etc., and of course the Monmartre hill itself and all its attractions. Luke was a highly professional and responsive host and went above and beyond when we requested to extend our stay by a couple of days. I hope I will be back some day !

Charming French Flat

The apartment is spacious and just oozes old French charm. The neighborhood at first glance seems worrisome but we never felt unsafe and the shop owners were so kind. They would even let us know when they were going home for the night so we could find parking!

It had every thing we needed and super comfortable

The metro stations were close even thogh the closest one was shut down for repair.
