Perfect location

The property was a perfect location to go in different directions to see what we wanted to see. We used the metro and we are walkers anyway but nothing was too far for us . The apartment had basic cooking equipment we struggled a little with lighting the hob and there was no kettle but we had the same in Valencia last year so it wasnt really a issue. Maybe a bigger pot for 6 or an extra one would of been handy and only found one tea towel but there was a washing machine which we used with no problem. Overall a lovely apartment with a lovely rooftop garden to chill in the evenings and the manager was very friendly.

Excellent accommodation, great location for exploring!

Highly recommend this property. Fidel was an excellent host, responding quickly to queries, extremely flexible with our arrival time (we arrived later than initially planned and Fidel was very accommodating) and very thorough at check-in. The apartment is absolutely lovely - we were very pleased on arrival. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and as described. As a family with 3 children, the apartment was beyond our expectations and easily accommodated us all. Everything we required was provided including washing up materials and cooking essentials. Ideal when flying to a holiday location. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch and much appreciated! The terrace is convenient and a good place to have breakfast/afternoon drinks. The apartment is in a good location for exploring Barcelona with a metro stop close by. Fidel provided a number of local tips in a handy document including places to visit and good places to eat close to the apartment and slightly further afield (the local bakery is most definitely worth a visit!). We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable well-placed apartment

My brother and I stayed here starting last week of June and we would be happy to stay here again. It was a clean and comfortable apartment in a safe and convenient location. It’s between Rocafort and Entenca metro stations (different lines) and an easy stroll to Parc Joan Miro where it is lovely to go onto the roof of the nearby Arena which has a 360 degree view over Barcelona. We felt safe walking in the area and in the metro even late at night. Close to plenty of grocery shops/supermarkets and cafes. The apartment looks out onto a square of other apartments but as it is the top (5th) floor it is bright and feels open as you can see beyond to the castle and chairlifts up on Montjuic. The aircon is based in the lounge but cools the bedrooms too. Good double glazing mean the apartment is quiet as traffic can be noisy otherwise. The other people in the block seemed friendly (residential but at least one other apartment was probably holidaymakers). There is lots of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes although it is all in the one bedroom. There are a row of clothes hooks in the second bedroom and I also used the steps/ladder to the top bunk as shelving. The only niggles were that one of the two rings on the cooker is tricky to light, we couldn’t find a kettle so used a saucepan and also it would be useful to have a casserole dish for use in the oven. All in all we were very comfortable and enjoyed staying here.

Buena ubicación y cómodo departamento

Cómodo departamento, muy bien ubicado . Fidel y Carmen muy atentos a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Pasamos una estadía inolvidable .

Beautiful apartment, great location

We had a wonderful few days in Barcelona staying in Fidel's apartment. It was close enough to walk to most of the sights and the metro was also very convenient. When we arrived Carmen was there to greet us, she was very helpful and friendly. We brought a car which we parked in the car parking space - very secure and reasonably close, we had a Ford C-Max which doesn't have the best turning circle so it was a bit tight wriggling into the car park but plenty of space once in there - the car park would also serve as a place where bikes could be stored securely. - Overall it was a wonderful home from home.

My wife is a teacher and I am an air traffic controller. I like cycling on the countryside. We love traveling around the world.

Why they chose this property

It was my first house in Barcelona where I was very happy, I started to know Barcelona from there. I think it's a really good apartment from where my customers can go easily to the main city sites due to it's adequate central location.

What makes this property unique

It is a quiet place in the middle of Barcelona. It's very well communicated and you can walk to the main places. It's very close to the Barcelona's fair. There's a quality restaurant crossing the street, but there are many more recommended restaurants around. If you like cooking there's the Ninot market and specials shops like Jamonísimo near by. It takes only 15 minutes to the airport by a taxi or an airport bus.
