Great stay, very homely
We stayed for a week in this house and had a great time. Its in a good position in a quiet part of town by the train line but close to everything as well as a view of Okemo ski runs from the balcony although you won't be out there when its cold. Our son loved counting the train carriages, it came maybe once a day. He also called the house the titanic and 'rescued' his sister from the tilting floor.
There's ample room for a family with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Loved the downstairs shower, very spacious. Only thing was the hot water only seemed enough for one bath in the evenings after skiing. We got a new bath plug for the spa bath since the one there was broken.
The kids loved the games in the cupboard and the keyboard in the living room was a big hit. I would of brought my music if I'd known!
The closed in porch is great for storing all the skiis and snowboards without getting mess in the house, be nice if it were heated too. Also the heating didn't extend to upstairs but we had electric blankets at night. We had to keep turning the Nest on as its programming was a little amiss when we were home in the mornings. Also the stove was not that easy, we tried a couple times and are usually good at starting fires however you may need to check the flue or chimney as there wasn't air getting through.
The kitchen was very good and enjoyed making meals there. I brought my slow cooker to put meals on while out on the mountain. Just needed a mixing bowl was all. Everything else was there.
All in all we enjoyed our time in Ludlow and at this house and would return. Check out the cheese factory and Buttermilk falls even in winter its nice. Also the thrift store is great if you forget anything like we did!
