This is the lower 1/2 (2000 SF) of a mountain home sitting on 20 acres in the woods.
Is less than 1/4th mile from Bull Lake. It's the perfect spot for families enjoying a stay in the area.
You have your own private entrance to the 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, lower 1/2 of home with plenty of parking and patio to enjoy. You have your own firepit with wood provided. Picnic tables and lawn chairs..
Our family originates in this area. Dad was born at the historic Bull lake Ranger Station in 1920 and mom born and raised in Troy. We feel very fortunate to be able to live here in what we feel is our heaven on earth.
Martha & Neil Odegard purchased this house in 2010
This home provides comfortable housing for those attending events at our well known beachfront property #450408- reserved often a year in advance for special events - especially weddings, family reunions, class reunions and company gatherings.
Many families reserve all our housing and our beach front for a special week together. Always fun and hard to leave.
We want to thank-you and your brother for the use of your wonderful house.. Ray particularly enjoyed perusing the wild game cook book.We really appreciated having a comfortable and close in place to stay.
It's actually better than it looks in the listing. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We saw many deer and hummingbirds on the property from our window. My kids loved rollerblading and playing basketball on the smooth driveway. The home was very neat and clean. Martha and Neil are friendly, helpful, and our overall stay was even more relaxing than we expected.
We came from Oregon, Arizona and southern Montana to a wedding reception that was held across hwy 56 lakeside. This was close enough to walk to if we wanted. Far enough away to be very quiet. The home was set up so we could all sleep comfortably and share time with each other when we wanted. Set up nicely for large family's and great for children. I would recommend this home for any large family.
Our family had a wonderful vacation at Bull Lake, Montana!!
This home was an absolute score for our large group of adults and children. The grassy front yard was a big hit, plenty of kick-ball games were played. Basketball hoop and large concrete flat driveway got lots of use with side-walk chalk and scooters. The view out the front of mountains and trees is breathtaking and peaceful.
Now to the inside...so nice!! Neil and Martha you have a beautiful rental!!
Large kitchen with all the necessary amentites, very well equiped. Plenty of seating between the dining room table and picnic table outside.
Large living room with comfy sofas and a big screen TV with classic videos available.
Bedrooms were perfect for our group of 12 (6 adults and 6 kiddos).
Bathrooms are beautiful with plenty of towels available.
This area is so much fun to visit. This is our second time to Bull Lake and we are definatly looking to visit again. Hoping this home will be available...it was perfect. Thank you so much Neil and Martha!!
Several of my teaching colleagues from around the country, along with some of our husbands, gathered in the Bull Lake area to collaborate and to help with a training for area teachers being hosted in Troy. The cabin was a wonderful gathering place! It was a comfortable, clean, quiet, and relaxing home base for exploring the area. If we are ever in the area again, we will contact these owners first with the hope of renting this cabin again.
My friend had his retirement party in the half way house ( 5 min walk from this location).
this was a perfect home to stay in and martha and neil treated us very well.
amazing space, plenty of room, well stocked, and just a wonderful place to rest.
will rent again no doubt.
We have 2 homes-within walking distance of our main property known as 'Odegarden' #450408 - one of the best beaches on the lake. Odegarden is a 1 acre property available to rent for use for family reunions, campouts, weddings, etc.
