Delightful villa in the Algarve set in it's own garden, with private pool just a few minutes from the beach and from 6 splendid golf courses: 'Benamor' 'Quinta da Ria', 'Quinta de Cima', 'Castro Marim', 'Monte Rei' and 'Quinta do Vale' The villa is a few minutes walk from the village of 'Cabanas' where you can find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and all you might need. The villa is fully equipped and very comfortable. The ground floor comprises a large lounge-dining room which leads via two large patio doors to two large terraces one of which overlooks the private swimming pool set in a lawn garden with a BBQ. The terrace has sofas and dining furniture, perfect for al fresco dining on the warm Algarve evenings. Also on the ground floor there are two large twin bedrooms, one bathroom and a completely equipped kitchen. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a terrace overlooking the garden. An ideal place for sun, beach, golf and fish lovers!

The Eastern Algarve: The Eastern Algarve is considered to be the most picturesque part in the Algarve. The Ria Formosa Natural Park is host to a large migratory bird population and is just a few minutes walk from the villa. The Portuguese town of Tavira only about ten minutes by car is known as the most beautiful town in the Algarve and recommended for its historical past, Roman architecture and 37 churches. Throughout the year there are music events and festivals and many more activities across the whole Summer. Tavira also has a fabulous daily market where you can buy fish straight off the boats and meat, fruit and vegetables from the local farmers.

Location: Cabanas is 30 minutes drive from Faro airport and only 30 minutes drive to the Spanish border. So, if you wish you may easily take a day trip to Spain whilst you are there!. In Cabanas you will experience a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings in an authentic Portugal!

Beaches: Tavira's coast is integrated in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, a protected area which is characterized by having a high biological productivity and diversity of habitats. Tavira has a coastline measuring over 18 km long, comprising the islands of Tavira and Cabanas, which are part of the Ria Formosa barrier islands' system. Cabanas' island is the smallest of the islands within the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is 70 meters wide and 7 km long (variable figures), providing an excellent choice for anyone who enjoys a quiet and lesser frequented beach. This golden beach, full of shells and a warm turquoise sea is located in front of Cabanas' village, land of fishermen. Cabanas beach has been distinguished with the Blue Flag Award since 1989 and it has equipment and infrastructure services available to visitors. To get there you take a fishermen's boat across the Ria Formosa for a few minutes. There are other magnificent beaches nearby, all easily accessible by car.

Wonderful Villa

We've just returned from a weeks holiday in this wonderful villa. Very modern, well equipped with all that's required for a very relaxing holiday. Really appreciated the newly installed wifi too. Immaculately clean throughout with pool cleaned daily - all maintained by a very helpful and friendly housekeeper who is on call for you during your stay. Easy 5 minute walk to the waters edge in Cabanas. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

Fantastic villa in a great location.

Stayed in September for two weeks. A wonderfully peaceful location within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants and an excellent beach; also easy to get further afield to Spain and Seville.

Unusual to find a villa so close to the beach and local facilities whilst remaining peaceful

The villa is very comfortable and spacious with all of the usual facilities including a larger than average pool. We were met on arrival by a very friendly maid who makes sure the villa is kept to a very high standard.

Relaxing in Cabanas

The villa was just as described by the owner. All our dealings with her were made easy, and on arrival we were met by the charming Magarida who carried on the tradition.

A well appointed villa in a quiet location. . The photos of the villa show what to expect. Anything we ever needed was in the villa

which was appointed to a high standard. Just a short walk took us to bars and restaurants where we were made very welcome. From there its just a few steps to the boardwalk and the ferry to the beaches. I would not hesitate to visit again. Thank you.

Very enjoyable relaxing holiday at Villa Coco Loco

We found the villa very well designed and large and comfortable for a family of 5. Air conditioning was a bliss in hot summer and the new ensuite showeroom to the master bedroom a delight. The swimming polo is of a very good size with good choice of loungers and well needed shade under the built in parasols. Location is great as there is a small Spar selling fresh bread in the morning at walking distance on the waterfront. The boardwalk promenade is lovely with a good choice of restaurants and the beach is across the river which you cross on a small fisherman boat (75 cents one-way per person). The beach is truly wonderful.

We found the whole process of renting the property very straightforward with all explanations given by Teresa in advance by email as required, an extensive offer of information about the area provided in the house and the housekeeper is absolutely brilliant.

The only downside was the lack of Wi-fi in the house. Yes there is a internet coffee shop on the waterfront and you can get an Internet sim card from the shopping mall in Tavira but it would be nice to find it at the villa.

Excellent place near the beach & local amenites

This is a gorgeous villa with 3 good size bedrooms and everything you could think of in terms of facilities for a large family or group of friends staying together. The villa has a lovely pool and great outdoor space and is also only a short walk to the beach and local shops/restaurants/bars.

The owner is very friendly and provides lot of information to make your stay as perfect as possible. I would definitely recommend this place to other travellers.

coco forever

We had an amazing holidays in cabanas, despite the fact we go there every year, being in the coco louco villa has made it a fairy tale. The house has an amazing surface, just perfect if you go in family and fear to kill each other after three days.

The garden is paradisiaque, with the swimming pool and a huge terrasse where you can hang out at night with a nice lighting around the garden. It is also very practical as it is very near the center and the boats to get to the beach, you can really enjoy your holidays without having to take the car for every step.

Kitchen was super well equiped wich was a major thing as we had a baby, and also love to cook.

Also Teresa provided us everything for the baby, the bed, the eating chair, the bath tub, i am suprise she didn't came to cuddle him at night ;-)))

So coco Louco is definitely a must if you can afford it, you will not regret the holidays there!

The Eastern Algarve is considered to be the most unspoilt and picturesque part in the Algarve. The town of 'Tavira', only about ten minutes by car from 'Cabanas' is known as the most beautiful town in the Algarve and recommended for its historical past, Roman architecture, 38 historic churches and its four beautiful bridges spanning the Gilão river which divides the town and allows for spectacular riverside views of the medieval town and river life. Numerous cafes and restaurants line the river, public gardens and quiet squares offering an array of traditional patisseries and fresh fish restaurants. The castle walls border the medieval centre of the town, from where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the rooftops of the town leading to the estuary and out into the Atlantic. 'Tavira' also has a fabulous daily market where you can buy fish straight off the boats and fruit and vegetables from the Algarve local farmers.

They are all a challenge to both the novice as well as the more accomplished golfer.

There are a number of other golf courses in close proximity along the Algarve and we can, under request, provide a list not only from the South of Portugal but from the South of Spain too.

Notes on prices
Prices are per property per week in UK pounds. Payment in euros is considered under request.
To make the booking I require a deposit of 25% of the total. The balance should be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. If that amount is not paid on time I shall consider, after contacting you, that you are not interested in renting the villa. The 25% deposit will only be returned if I am notified 10 weeks prior to arrival, otherwise it shall be forfeited.
If you do a transfer please make sure that your bank does not charge interest which is deducted from the amount you deposit into my account, if that is the case you will need to cover it.
There is a damage deposit of 250,00 Euros which must be paid on arrival and shall be returned at departure less the cost of any damages or extra cleaning.
Air Conditioning is included in the rental rates during the months of May, June, July, August and September. From October until the end of April hot aircon is paid apart at 50 euros per week and for long term rentals during the same period, water and electricity are according to use.

Booking Notes
Rental rates are for a maximum of 6 people + baby. There is a charge of £ 50 per week for each person more than 6 (including children)
A child's cot and high chair are available free of charge.
Weekly change of towels and bed linen is included. Please inquire about additional extra cleaning / maid service.
Beach towels are not provided.

Changeover Day:
All bookings are from Saturday to Saturday.
The property is booked from 4pm on the day of arrival through 12am on the day of departure to allow time for cleaning and preparation arrangements.
