3 bdr/3bath Oceanfront Condo-SPECIAL-$500 off summer weeks while this lasts!

Luxury 3 bedroom, 3 bath Condo on the Isle of Palms. In the heart of the action, yet quiet and uncrowded. We do not have beach erosion in this area of the island or storm damage from 2017 storms. This second floor spacious condo has wonderful views of the wide, unhurried beach. Not all 3 bed/3baths have the expanded space for living that our condo has so ask about floor plans before booking. We have expansive, oceanfront views from all living spaces including the master suite of our oceanfront location. IF direct Oceanfront is what you are wanting for your vacation, you will love our home. CHECK OUR NEW PHOTOS! We have finished up our 2018 renovation of bathrooms and have added the new photos! Also, we have new 2018 flat screen SMART UHD LG and Samsung TVs in Living room and master suite so that, NOW every room has Flat Screen/ DVR and DVD/Blue Ray Players. In addition to the very large oceanfront pool, the complex has a nice grassy area to play on. There is elevator access to ground level and covered parking underneath our building. This complex has wide open spaces as compared to the neighboring ones and most importantly, we are NOT located next to the Windjammer (a very loud late night venue). Master Suite with King bed, sitting area, flat screen wall mount TV/DVD and oceanfront balcony continuous with living room balcony. The master bath has two sinks, garden tub and separate walk-in shower. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. One is equipped with a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. We believe your sleep is as important as our fabulous oceanfront views and have invested in some wonderful new Serta/Simmons mattresses. We have a fully equipped kitchen including microwave, dishwasher, 12 cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, mixer, george foreman grill, blender and ice maker. NOTE: We have remodeled kitchen & baths with tile, granite and cork floors. If you have allergies to carpet and mold, then you will find our condo, without any carpet, a refreshing change. Wicker rockers on our oceanfront balconies have seating for 8 on our balconies including a dining table that seats 4. Luxury high thread count linens are provided in all of our bedrooms/baths.

Please, prior to email about availability & rates, check our online calendar & rate schedules. We keep our calendar up to date. We work very hard to keep our place like a luxury hotel would be and attempt to keep our kitchen well stocked with items like olive oil, spices, balsamic vinegar and other ingredients that you might need for cooking (should you desire to make your own gourmet meals). If not, there are plenty of great gourmet restaurants on the island or nearby in Mt. Pleasant. Nearby, downtown Charleston has many world renowned eateries, most of which you will need reservations for- so don't forget to consult us early in your trip. We have baby/child needs taken care of through Baby's Away and you can even order your groceries ahead and have them placed in the condo refrigerator. We encourage you to rent directly from us, as we are the owners and this is our second home, not simply "another rental for an agency."

There are many plantations to visit and numerous historic sights nearby if you are an antique lover- Charleston is antique paradise. Shopping is available at a full scale mall just over the IOP bridge in Mt. Pleasant and many up scale stores and boutiques are found in that mall or downtown Charleston for your shopping delights. Take a dinner cruise on the harbor or just enjoy sitting on our beach, whatever you desire can be found nearby.

Isle Of Palms is a very residential island, so you do not have to worry about safety like you might on so many of the large scale commercial islands on the coast. We are always fully booked in all seasons, so don't wait to book us because we don't want YOUR week to be gone!

We have new bathrooms for 2018 with lovely tile/granite and Kohler soaking garden tubs. WE have all flat screen TVs including 2 large screens- 1 in the master and 1 in the living space. We look forward to hosting you this year at our beach home and can't wait for you to sleep our on new beds.

We think the difference in renting from an owner is that we care for our home because we love it, its not simply 'another rental property.' We have enjoyed reading our guest book that we keep in the condo to see everyone building memories with their families and friends. For those of you returning to our place this year, we hope you love what we have done to make it even more comfortable. Don't wait to make your reservation, we hate turning folks away! Isle of Palms is the closest barrier island to Charleston which was voted in 2016 as the #2 destination in the world (after Florence, Italy) and #1 destination in the US by Conde Nast magazine's reader's choice awards. We are 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston. This is our home, not merely an investment and we think you will see the difference. You must sign our contract even when booking online using credit cards. We encourage you to contact us with questions prior to giving homeaway your credit card info. Feel free to call us (phone number located in headline).

We are sat-sat in high season only. Check our rate listings to see if your season is posted, if not- call us for a correct quote. Outside of high season, we can be flexible with your week and book whatever works better for you. Expect higher rates during special events like Bridge Run, Holidays, etc. Some holidays require a 4 night minimum, e.g. Memorial Day and Labor Day. Summer Season requires weekly only rentals with changeover day on Saturday.

Note: If you have any questions about rates or minimum stay, we urge you to send an inquiry to us prior to "booking a reservation." We will send you an accurate quote and then you can proceed with making your reservation at that point. Better yet, call us and ask us directly! The website may not quote the price correctly for non-posted time frames or for time frames that are special holidays requiring more than 3 nights but less than 7 night rentals. Also, if you do not enter in your exact dates of travel, the website quoted price will be incorrect.

If you have stayed with us before, we have removed the big bulky furniture in the bedrooms to create more floor space. We have listened to our guests and work every year to upgrade your experience.

About Pamela Wright-Etter

This is our second home where we enjoy entertaining friends and family. We think that makes a big difference to our renters because we are not just property managers with a ton of rental property. We provide those little extras since we also live there sometimes. Recently we have upgraded our mattresses and bathrooms as well as added large screen UHD TVs in the LR and Master suite. Each Flatscreen TV in every room in our home has a DVR and DVD player. Our kids and grands love watching movies at the beach when it rains or to wind down after a big beach day.

We simply have the best views of the ocean on the island. Our condo sits on 4 acres of oceanfront without the high density of a high rise condo. We looked for 10 years at property before we purchased this unit which we chose for its proximity to the ocean and the fabulous views. If its raining we sit on our balcony watching the tides come and go, listening to the waves- like being right on the beach without the hassle.

Charleston has been consistently named to Conde Nast's Number 1 Destination and has been named the #1 tourist destination in the world. Our condo is 15-20 minutes from Charleston and all of its many attractions. You could become a regular visitor to Charleston and our condo and see something different every time you come for the next 25 years. Come and stay for a week or 2- you won't regret it!

Our villa is our vacation home too and so we take pride in keeping it up to date and work tirelessly on making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy what we think is the best view on the island. Other villas may not have the same finishes on the interior that we have since we are committed to continually updating our place. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with us. It was just what we were looking for. We looked at a couple of other buildings we considered on IOP and were happy with our choice.



The hot, sunny weather was perfect for the beach. Nine year old C loved riding the big waves. C, 5, loved the sand and the pool. We often had to pool to ourselves. Though the beach was busy on the weekend, the building never seemed crowded.



We enjoyed the food at the Acme Low Country Restaurant. We had dinner there three times and were always pleased. The chef recognized us as regulars on the third trip and came out to ask us what kept us coming back. You can't get succotash like that in the mid-west.



We didn't discover all the beach gear in the kid's closet until the it was time to go home. Looks like there is some good stuff in there. You should mention it in your property description. Fortunately we had brought beach chairs, sand toys and a boogie board with us.



Your place at IOP has certainly earned our recommendation to friends and family. Daughter-in-law J is already talking about the next trip.

  • We provide thick towels and have plenty of them in our condo. Bathrooms are nicely appointed and even include soft soap dispensers. Extra towels can be found in the linen chest so there is no shortage. We have a supply of beach towels too.

Notes:
The Kitchen is equipped with everything imaginable for cook with including blender, etc. We even have a crab pot for those who are inclined to cook their own. We leave spices in the villa when we are there. We also try to have olive oil and some other basic staples so you don't have to buy large quantities of something you might use once during your vacation. We have some beach toys and boogie boards in our villa though we do not guarantee their condition at the end of the season! We replace and replenish often. Our goal is for you to leave our place and want to return. We try to think of everything you will need to have a great vacation and time of rest, relaxation and renewal.

Beautiful Beach View from Luxury Condo

Traveled to IOP for my Dad's 86th Bday and stayed in this beautiful Condo. This Condo was beautifully decorated throughout, exceptionally clean with plenty of seating and a well stocked kitchen for meal prep. The deck has enough seating to just sit, sip and view whether it be morning, afternoon or evening. Magnificent! The owners were wonderful to work with, very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We will be back.

Very Clean Condo, Beautiful Views & Great Location

My family has been vacationing in IOP for over 10 years and have stayed at numerous places but I can't speak highly enough about this Condo. The level of detail the owners have put in to this unit is remarkable. The unit was spotless upon arrival and is decorated nicely. The full size kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need should you decide to cook while you are there. The views from the oceanfront balcony are breathtaking and you can have the same views while sitting in the living room area if you wish. The property is well maintained and landscaped. The property also has luggage carts and an elevator for your use when unloading your belongings. You are also in walking distance to all of the restaurants and bars on the island. I will definitely be booking this unit again!

Great location, family friendly, spacious condo

I stayed at this property with my wife, two young children and mother-in-law in April 2018. The condo was perfect for us - spacious and very family friendly. The location is outstanding. The unit is right on the beach, but also allows easy access to Charleston. There are a Ben & Jerry's and several restaurants within walking distance, with more restaurants just a short drive away on Sullivan's Island. The owners were very responsive to a few questions we had prior to arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Place. Great location

First time to Charleston area. We weren't sure if we should stay on Folly Island or Isle of Palms or Sullivan Island. We definitely made the right choice. We have kids and wanted to stay on the beach, wanted a pool, but also wanted a place we could walk to get ice cream, pizza and maybe dinner. This was a perfect location for what we were looking for.

As for the house, the Etter's place is really excellent (I would buy it if I could). The view is great (wish the balcony rail was a little lower or transparent - I'm short so it was hard to get a great view while sitting down but I'm pretty sure that is a building code issue they can't do anything about). The pool is right there and nice and the beach is also right there and nice as well. Everything is in excellent condition and it is more spacious than the pictures show. We've rented many houses and always leave with one, "I wish they had..." but not here. They had everything we needed - little things like salt and pepper, paper towels, plastic cups for the kids, and were very reasonable. We would stay there again.

One FYI, if you sign-up you will get a 7 page list of things which will cause you to lose your security deposit. It is a bit overwhelming, but after living there, really what the list says is "treat my house like yours and don't destroy anything, and only eat in the kitchen". We got our entire deposit back and the list was thorough so we knew how to take care of everything.

BTW, we are from New Jersey if this provides context. There were six of us (2 adults and 4 kids), and we could easily have brought 2 more people and fit in the home.

Beauty and comfort... this condo was top notch!

From the quiet solitude of the rocking chairs on the spacious deck to the luxury bed linens on “oh so comfy” mattresses, all cares were banished away. It seemed that every detail one could think of was looked after to make our week long stay both comfortable and relaxing.

The well appointed kitchen was a dream for meal preparation. Never before had we experienced such a well stocked spice cabinet and the dishwasher was so quiet that you wouldn’t know it was running. But even more important were the ocean views from the kitchen, dining area, spacious living room and the master bedroom.

The elevator from the covered parking was appreciated, especially when carrying groceries. Historic Charleston was a pleasant and scenic 20 minute drive away. My husband particularly enjoyed the firemen’s museum near the malls in North Charleston. During our stay we also visited Magnolia Gardens and Plantation – beautiful! And we can now say that we have seen the world’s oldest tree, the Angel Tree.

While back at the condo, we slipped out of our shoes and enjoyed long, carefree walks on the beach. Thank you Pam and Kevin for a most comfortable and relaxing getaway!

The Isle of Palms is only a short drive to brand new malls and cinemas. Kids will love it because of a variety of nearby activities and proximity to other renters, which means other children! Parents will love it because its not crowded and hectic. In a mere 15-minute drive, you can enjoy the action of Charleston’s city-center with all of the romance and history you can imagine.
