Cabin Near Bull Lake, Montana

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,400 sq. ft.
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 nights

About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Our Cabin sits on 2 acres of meadow and woods directly across the road from our lakefront property on Bull Lake. # 450408.

The cabin has very convenient access but feels private and secluded. At nearly 1,400 sq. ft. the Cabin feels cozy but big enough for everyone.

Warm summer days are for swimming, floating, and waterskiing. Fishing is great on either Bull Lake or Bull River. We are also just minutes from Ross Creek Cedars – an easy 1-mile hike along old cedar growth up to 8 feet in diameter. Libby Golf course is just 30 miles away. You will also find plenty of shopping and antiquing there as well as at Troy, which is 17 miles away.

Should you be able to come in the fall... you’ll enjoy the brilliant golden colors of our Tamaracks dotting our mountainsides! Crisp air, starry nights, and an evening bonfire to top it off.

Once the snow flies there's great snowmobiling, skiing and snowboarding at Turner Mountain north of Libby and you are also just 1 hour away from Sweitzer Basin, Sandpoint Idaho’s world famous skiing. The surrounding area also has miles of groomed trails for snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. Access to snowmobiler's trail # 473 'Keeler Creek' is just 13 miles down the road. Or simply enjoy a cozy time playing board games, reading, and connecting with friends and family. Hunting deer, elk and moose are popular in our area also.

At our Cabin you're sure to depart feeling relaxed & renewed.

Guestbook comments from the manager

My family and I have enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. It is so cozy and the views of the mountiains and lake are amazing We have spent many afternoons exploring the area and every evening was spent down on the lake.

My 3 boys have had so much fun in the pedal boat and canoe you have provided for your guests, that is something they won't forget! Hopefully we will be back again next summer! P.S. The wine basket was a wonderful surprise! Many thanks.

Perfect for our family!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin had everything we needed to keep us happy and comfortable while we explored the area. It was in a great spot to explore the Ross Creek, Kootenai Falls and Bull Lake. We loved the privacy of the place, but found it close enough to where we wanted to go. It would be cozy and lovely in the winter too. It was nice to have the washer and dryer and the two full bathrooms and separate bedrooms was helpful with our family of four. We happened to be there when it was very hot and there was a fire ban, but otherwise I know we would have made use of the fire pit. It's a gorgeous area, and we'd like to come back with more of our family to hike and enjoy the lake. If we come again, I hope we can find a way to rent a boat or kayak, because that would have been a lot of fun for our boys of 5 and 8, but we went to Dorr Skeels campground to swim every day, and that was plenty good enough for this time :) Martha was helpful and accommodating when I was having trouble booking. She made it happen quickly and easily. Thanks for a great summer vacation!

Great spot

  • 5 of 5

This is our third stay at this property and it's just perfect for us. Beautiful scenery, nice kitchen, big comfy bed, perfect swimming beach, dog friendly with lots of property for our pup to roam, good fire pit, near hiking, waterfalls and other attractions. No cell phone reception, so the wifi is very much appreciated. A tucked away little piece of heaven!

Justin Cabin Rental (4.5 Stars)

  • 4 of 5

Although this cabin is not on Bull Lake, it is literally across Hwy 56 from the lake... VERY close to an absolutely beautiful lake!

It sleeps 6 very comfortably, but with the addition of an airbed, it can sleep 8. Downstairs room has a king size bed and upstairs room has 2 queen sized beds.

Fully stocked kitchen with everything you'll need to fix meals. Including coffee filters, salt, pepper, and a couple other seasonings. May want to bring a non-stick spray or oil for frying. There is more bakeware, knives, and serving items, then you'll ever need. The Webber BBQ is awesome for grilling! The deck is AMAZING and overlooks the lake, 2 tables, an umbrella, and plenty of seating! There is a cute little firepit for roasting marshmallows in the evenings and chairs to sit around it as well.

Bathrooms come with plenty of towels for everyone. There is a washer/dryer if needed.

WIFI is available and the television is operated by Dish Network. Cell phone service was spotty, but texting was easily usable with Verizon.

My cousin was getting married on the property right across the highway and on the lake, so this rental was perfect for us!

We're hoping to plan a return trip for next summer!

This place is quite nice and I would have rated it a 5 star, but I felt the carpets were in need of replacement and the air conditioner could have been installed without cardboard and duct tape. I hesitated to rate it too harshly because I can only imagine how hard it must be to keep carpets looking nice in a rental. If I had a rental, I would not put carpets in it. So in actuality I would give this rental a strong 4.5 stars :)
