Surrounded by gentle rolling hills and beautiful vistas, this exquisite example of modern architecture stands proud on fourteen lush acres. The home is warmly decorated with carefully selected antiques that offer the feeling of simple airy elegance. The house is filled with light and a peaceful atmosphere. Winter season renters can enjoy cozy radiant floor heat as well as the special amenities of a full dance studio, piano, wood-burning fireplace, and a Zen-inspired meditation tower. In the summer, this lovely Berkshire home is surrounded by plentiful flower gardens. The house is 20 minutes away from Tanglewood, and 30 minutes from Jiminy Peak for winter skiing. The house is in close proximity to New York City and Boston---- 21/2 hours by car to both cities.
I am a choreographer and artist in New York City. My late husband who designed the house was an architect.

My husband and I loved the gentle, peaceful country and the culture of the Berkshires, especially Tanglewood and Jacob's Pillow. It is private and rural but not isolated at all. There is gorgeous land all around to walk through..... and one feels intimately connected to nature.
We had a wonderful, quiet getaway at Robin's home. The design of the house is comfortable, well thought out, and elegantly designed. The Zen Tower provides a great spot for reading. And the house is close enough to Hudson, Great Barrington, and other cultural centers to have a great meal and visit museums. The house was very well prepared for our arrival, and Robin gave us a warm welcome and a very helpful overview of the house. Recommended for a quiet vacation.
The beauty and spaciousness of this home's architecture, it's gorgeous surrounding acres of flowers, woods and fields, and the exquisite, thoughtful taste of furnishings and comforts make this an ideal vacation home. The house itself offers a meditation tower with incredible views and ample space for sitting, a dance studio for movement, yoga, or exercise routines, a deck for grilling and outdoor dining, with stairs down to hiking paths. The open design of kitchen and living room, with fireplace and large windows all around, create an atmosphere of warmth and light. And you can fill the space with music from a richly amplified stereo. The finished basement is cozy and inviting, with TV and a wide assortment of books and videos. You will feel at one with nature, and can also easily drive to so many different attractions--natural and cultural. I look forward to returning for another stay!
We stayed at this house last winter and thoroughly enjoyed it. We've stayed at some other houses in the Berkshires, but never one that felt as special as this house. There was so much space, from the lovely basement with media room, to the top floor which featured open views of the land, our family of 4 never felt like we were on top of each other. Robin keeps it beautifully decorated and I felt really at home there. The house is close to Jiminy Peak, so it was great for us, and we plan to come back in the summer to explore the surrounding lakes and towns. We loved the radiant heat which kept our feet toasty and it always smelled so good!
This home is a gem, more photos are needed to express the beauty of not only the house but the land. Sunlight pouring into the big windows, sunsets from the deck, great hiking right out the door and in the area, great restaurants 10 mins away or 20 mins to Lenox.
Very well maintained and clean with hardwood floors throughout. I highly recommend this property, especially for those who appreciate peace and nature.
The Berkshires is a rich cultural area filled with many wonderful recreational, historical, and cultural activities and locations to visit.
