Beautiful 2000 square foot 3 bedroom townhouse on Lake Pontchartrain in Slidell, LA...also known as 'The Little Easy' as it is only 23 minutes from downtown New Orleans, Casinos, Superdome, French Quarter, and Festivals. Golf, restaurants, shopping, deep sea fishing, antique stores, and all amenities are within a five minute drive. Mississippi Gulf Coast Casino Row just 45 minutes away--Little Las Vegas on white sand beaches with big name entertainment, shows and great food.

View sunsets over the lake from the large covered front and rear elevated porches and dock your boat or fish from your own deep water boat dock and pier in the back yard. Enjoy the New Orleans experience just across the bridge in historic Slidell with our hometown atmosphere. Great fishing and fresh seafood year round, wonderful restaurants, and lots of activities. Mardi Gras, Christmas and St. Patrick's Day boat parades right in your back yard. Catch beads and party without leaving home! (Parades are the Saturday 2 weeks before each holiday).

This is a beautiful place with water views in front in back from big porches. Lovely inside and out. Great golf courses right around the corner. We caught so many fish and and ate at restaurants in Slidell that served fabulous seafood...Phil's Marina has 24 Jumbo shrimp with fries for 10.95 and you get a great view of the marina!!! We loved it and will be back.

Great condo and proximity to New Orleans

Family trip to NO (1st visit for majority) and music festival Halloween weekend. So glad we picked this condo! The entire process was easy due to Debbie (she is the sweetest)!! The condo is spacious, clean, and in a safe neighborhood. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Wonderful

My family of 7 stayed here for the week of 4th of July as we toured New Orleans and we had a blast! I can't say enough great things about Debbie and the property. About 40 minute scenic drive into New Orleans.

The accommodations were excellent and great quality. There was plenty of room, enough towels, paper towels and toilet paper. The view of the bay at sunrise and sunset were amazing! Lastly, throughout the booking process, Debbie was easy to deal with and very kind.

This property is a hidden jewel that you will be sure to enjoy!

Wonderful stay!

The owners and neighbors to the east are so welcoming! Debbie sent several emails ahead of time with information on restaurants, local shopping areas and boat rentals. Since we were not familiar with the area at all, this was so helpful! I do feel badly for the owners as the neighbors that share their duplex do not have good "upkeep skills" so first impressions on arrival are a bit mixed, but once we walked into the home, all reservations were quickly released. Very nice home, no issues at all. Clean and a welcoming place to be! Thank you so much!

Just What We Needed

Nice, clean property. Rooms maybe even more spacious than my original impression from the pictures. Good value. Felt comfortable with the owner almost immediately during our first phone conversation and throughout the rental period. Separate A/C controls for each floor a big plus and bedrooms were selected more by warmer/cooler preferences than anything else. Nice having both a front and back deck. The area is still under development post Katrina with several newer houses around but also some vacant lots. Beautiful homes and neighborhoods nearby as you are driving in from I-10.

Great House & Great Location to So Much

Thank you Debbie for sharing your home with us. It was our first time staying Slidell and we loved the location to everything. Your home is so comfortable & very clean & equipped for comfort. The front porch overlooks Ponchatrain Bridge & the back porch overlooks the waterway. It was so relaxing sitting out with the breeze off the lake. Was a quick 25 min ride down to French Quarter. Our last afternoon we decided to hang out in Slidell and had a wonderful dinner @ Phil's Marina Cafe. It was Great Food, & the views were wonderful off the lake. Thank you again for your hospitality and suggestions. We enjoyed ourselves and would happily stay with Debbie & Joe on our next visit. Julie & Danny

Awesome Place!

Perfect location with the Lake in front and the canal with a dock in the back. A beautiful view to watch the sunset and a great spot for morning coffee. Home is very comfortable with everything you need except the food and your personal items! Very convienient and close to everything but private enough if you want to do nothing. Debbie is so helpful with any questions you may have. We miss the area and are so glad we stayed here. We'll surely come again! Hopefully we can come back to NOLA for good!

Boat dock in back with docking for two boats..waterway leads directly to open gulf waters in 30 minutes. Property is on Lake Pontchartrain which leads directly into the Gulf of Mexico. Two very large porches facing the lake in the front and the waterway in the back. Parking for 4-6 cars. This is not a complex--it is an individually owned townhouse in a very nice lakefront neighborhood on a quiet street.
