Hale Aliomanu is a private oceanfront estate located on Aliomanu Bay, Kauai, Hawaii. As you drive in the gate, you enter your own personal retreat, swaying palm trees, the soothing sound of the ocean, lush tropical landscaping, the scent of plumeria and the solitude of Kauai. Enjoy unobstructed ocean views from most all of the rooms. Watch the sun come up from the comfort of your bed, or stargaze with virtually no ambient light from your lanai.

The elegance of this estate home is evident everywhere, Ipe wood floors throughout, top of the line kitchen appliances, regal bedding and attention to every detail will make your holiday perfect.

Walk out your front door, stroll across the lush lawn to one of the most private and year round swimmer friendly beaches, the pristine turquoise waters of Aliomanu Bay. Relax and enjoy shell collecting, boogie boarding or a kayak trip across the bay in one of our sit on top, novice friendly, ocean kayaks.

The Hale Aliomanu Estate sleeps twelve (12) comfortably, ten (10) in the main house and an additional two (2) in the optional queen guest bedroom with kitchenette/living area. There are three (3) bedrooms upstairs, including the oversized master bedroom with a luxurious cal king bed, walk-in closet, soaking tub, two person shower enclosure and private oceanfront covered deck, the elegant oceanfront queen bedroom, and the air conditioned twin bedroom, which has two (2) twin size beds and has a garden view, side ocean view. These two (2) twin beds can be converted to a king size bed if you prefer. Downstairs there is the oceanfront den/bedroom which has an queen size bed, the patented Comfort Sleeper by American Leather. This bedroom opens to the covered oceanside deck and has a 1/2 bath with direct entrance to a privacy enclosed hot outdoor shower. Also downstairs there is an air-conditioned queen bedroom. This lovely Asian themed bedroom has its own entrance. It is attached to the home but a very private quiet queen bedroom, full bath. This bathroom has safety bars in the shower and by the toilet. The optional guest queen bedroom is an upper level studio just 5 feet from the walkway to the main house. This guest studio is air conditioned with a queen bed, living area with large screen TV, kitchenette with full size refrigerator, table and chairs and of course a full bath. This guest studio is only available when renting the main house at the Hale Aliomanu Estate, it is never rented separately. If your group is larger than ten (10) this will need to be included, additional rental fees of $875/week, plus tax and cleaning will apply.

Parking inside of the Estate gate can easily accommodate 5-6 vehicles.

Conveniently located on the East side of Kauai you can enjoy most other famous Kauai attractions with a short drive North or South.

About Judith Huber

My husband and I have lived in and cared for Hale Aliomanu (VRBO 306938) and Hale Aloha (VRBO 308945) for many years. Both private gated estates, which are 200 feet apart with one other home separating the two, are on the same secluded and beautiful Aliomanu Bay.

I have always loved the water, and after coming to Hawaii in the 70's when I was 17 I knew I'd never leave. We moved to Kauai in 2000 and love the ocean, surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and fishing. The quiet small town appeal of Kauai fits our personalities perfectly.

Some of my most cherished family memories are from the estates at Aliomanu Bay.

My family had an awesome time staying at Hale Aliomanu. Everything was as advertised. It is a truly beautiful home that provided the perfect venue for our family. Jude was a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond: before, during and after our stay. Mahalo Jude! My boys, ages 9 & 5, had a great time: snorkeling, kayaking and just playing in the yard. When we wanted to surf or boogie board there are nearby beaches that are a short drive away. My wife and mother in law could not have been happier with the location. The home itself had everything you could ask for on vacation and I highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful property on the beach at Anahola on the Eastern Coast

Large, modern, well equipped home with beautiful landscaping and only steps from the beach. Easy access to all the things to do on Kauai. Or just enjoy the sun on the front lawn or on the beach. Property manager Jude is very helpful and responsive to any needs. Activities concierge Sonja is available to provide activity recommendations and make the arrangements. Our family of ten spanning three generations had a wonderful time here!

The Halle Aliomanu was perfect for our three generation family spring break vacation! The accommodations were excellent, the yards are extraordinary and perfect for outdoor fun, the setting and access to a very quiet sand beach perfect, and their was plenty of attention to all the details associated with our stay. Access to plenty of ocean options is easy as are nearby attractions and stores. Halle Aliomanu helped make our extraordinary family time together that much better. Aloha!

Centrally located, Hale Aliomanu is just 10 minutes from the beach town of Kapaa where you will find plenty of great restaurants and shopping. Check out First-Saturday Art Walk in Kapaa. Drive north 15 minutes and visit the Kilauea Lighthouse and bird sanctuary. You will also find mini-golf in Kilauea and the Na Aina Kai, a 240 acre Botanical Gardens and Sculpture Park. Continue driving North another 10 minutes to the resort town of Princeville with great sunset views of the Na Pali Coast. Another 5 minutes North brings you to the famous town of Hanalei. Great surfing, shopping, and restaurants and the beautiful crescent shaped white sand beach, not as private as the beach in front of the Hale Aliomanu Estate, but spectacularly beautiful. Then keep driving North to the end of the road, to Kee beach for great snorkeling.

Here is where the famous Na Pali Coast trail starts to Hanakapii waterfall and Kalalau Valley. If you continue Heading South from the Hale Aliomanu Estate, past Kapaa another 10 minutes you can drive right up to Opeka Falls, a stunning waterfall, another 10 minutes will bring you to the Wailua Waterfalls where there is almost always a rainbow. A few more minutes south in the County Seat, Lihue, you can visit the Kauai Museum, a great museum. Continuing South you can pass the Menehune Fish Pond, then go through the tree tunnel to the oldest town in Hawaii, Koloaa. A few minutes past Koloaa town will bring you to the resort side of the island, Poipu. Plenty of fine dining, beaches and shopping. If you continue back to the main highway you can drive to the old plantation town of Waimea en route to the Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Park. Finally, back down to the main highway driving west to the end of the road and 11 miles of undisturbed with sand beach, Barking Sands and Polihale Park. There are just so many other things to do, the Kauai Bike Path is one of the best, just 10 minutes from the house. There is zip-lining, tubing, horseback riding, fishing, surfing, waterskiing, kayaking, hiking, helicopter rides and more, all within a short drive from this centrally located gated estate.

As stated in your rental documents full payment is due 120 days prior to commencement of your rental period. The VRBO/HomeAway system has, by default, an automatically calculated due date that indicates payment is due ninety (90) days prior to the commencement of your rental period. We apologize for this problem. We thought it prudent to have a set of rental documents stored outside of the VRBO/Home Away system should anything cause a disruption in the VRBO/HomeAway system, therefore, a duplicate set of rental documents will be emailed via the DocuSign program. I will email these to you after receiving your refundable $2,000.00 reservation deposit.
The main home at the Hale Aliomanu Estate sleeps 10. As an option, when renting the main home you can also rent the detached queen bedroom upper level studio for an additional $700/week, plus tax and $100 additional cleaning, bringing the sleeping capacity to twelve (12). This lovely air conditioned unit has a queen bedroom, a dining area, a living area with large screen TV and kitchenette with full size refrigerator.
