Get away from it all and enjoy the crystal clear blue waters of this spring fed lake nestled among pine trees on a 1.5-acre lot.
Enjoy swimming, fishing, and riding the paddle boat and kayaking on this peaceful and pristine body of water. This lake is deep in the center (especially near the springs) and shallow around the edge. It is so clear you can use a mask and snorkel ( or the naked eye) to see fish, turtles and interesting aquatic vegetation. There are many bream that swim around the dock and some will actually look up at you expecting to be fed some bread. This is a nature lover's paradise! There is a variety of wild life to observe such as birds of prey, humming birds, otter, deer, and owls.
Relax and float on a raft, or partake in games such as badminton, volleyball, or ping-pong.
Roast marshmallows over a camp fire and star gaze upon the night sky. Camp outside, or sleep inside the 1680 sq. ft. home, with living room, kitchen, dining room, den, three bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. Enjoy relaxing in front of an Amish electric fireplace all year round. Watch many high-definition television stations or surf the internet. Computer available for guest use. Wi Fi access anywhere in home or on screened porch.
Bring your own boat and take advantage of a huge private lake in the neighborhood that has a picnic area and motor boat ramp. This is a golf cart community and there are many miles of great scenic bike riding opportunities.

Hi, my name is Cathy. Feel free to contact me with any questions about this rental property.
The Owner purchased this cottage in 1988
It was purchased to relax away from the city life.
Extremely private, Lots of wildlife, Great for swimming, snorkeling and fishing, Quiet (No motorized boats on the lake), Clear blue lake fed by three springs.
We so enjoyed our week at the lake house! The fishing was great, the smallest bass I caught was 14 inches long. We could sit on the dock and watch the larger ones swimming by, the children caught lots of smaller fish it was the first time they had ever fished and enjoyed it a lot, we practice catch and release so if we visit again the fish will be bigger. Thank you again for a great family time.
This place is so lovely and secluded. It was the perfect place for my family on my birthday weekend getaway. The kyacks and paddle boat were the star of the trip. I could not get my daughters out of them. Fishing was great as well. The house was stocked with every thing you could possibly need. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much Cathy!
My husband and I had a great time there. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The water was beautiful. We had fun kayaking on the lake. Cathy is such a sweet lady and easy to talk to. We can't wait to go back. It was the perfect place to get away from are busy lifestyle.
I don't know where to begin. This home was exactly as pictured and extremely comfortable with all the conveniences of home but away from it all. My husband and I and our grandson and his girlfriend and our dog Shadow spent a wonderful 6 nights and days in this beautiful setting. It is well off the beaten path and very private and as I said earlier, extremely comfortable. Cathy is the most accommodating and helpful person I have ever met and couldn't be any nicer and extremely easy to work with and communicate with. We are planning on going back around the Christmas holidays and just can't wait to go back again. We have family in Gainesville and my grandson and girlfriend did a lot of activities with them and my husband and I just enjoyed the peaceful and quiet time at the lake house. My husband took our dog for a walk every morning around the whole lake and it took them about 45 minutes and our dog loved it. She made herself very much at home there and none of us wanted to leave to come back to PA. But we will be back down there again before the end of the year and honestly I cannot wait until I go back to Cathy's wonderful home away from home. Thank you over and over again for such a beautiful and relaxing and comfortable home you have shared with us. It is definitely a nature lover's place to visit.
My husband and I and two older dogs had a fun time. Cathy was a wonderful person to talk to and made our vacation go smooth. The house is exactly what we imagined and so comfortable. TV and electronics worked fine. Mark loved fishing in the lake. The area was so quiet and loved the surrounding nature.
Just as advertised had a great time. Looking forward to going back.
Recently I went to a symposium at University of Florida and turned it into a short holiday. This property is on a small spring fed lake and has a fun paddle boat and kayaks to get out on the water. The outdoor space is just lovely and the home is very comfortable. Cathy was there to greet me and pointed out more of the activities in the area. It is a convenient drive to Gainesville. I wish I had had more time to spend there. Thank you, Cathy.
