Apartment, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 2-6)

Located in a classic Eixample building, this 120 m2 charming 3-bedroom fully equipped apartment offers a quiet and comfortable oasis in a perfectly convenient neighborhood for visitors to Barcelona.

There are 2 double queen size bedrooms and 1 single. There is a spacious full bathroom and a half bath (toilet and sink). The kitchen has top of the line luxury appliances (Miele brand) and is complete with dishwasher, stainless steel fridge, microwave, oven, coffee pot, toaster and cooking utensils. There is also a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

It has hardwood flooring throughout, located on the 1st floor and is insulated from street noise. All linens and towels are high-quality cotton.

The apartment’s spacious 50 m2 terrace looks out onto an exclusive interior urban garden – a slice of nature in an otherwise bustling neighborhood. The high ceilings and bright rooms offer a calming and spacious atmosphere. Here you can dine al fresco and enjoy the tranquility of an urban oasis.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD

The historical modernist area is called the “Qadrat d’Or” or Golden Zone, and lives up to its name as it is within walking distance of architectural gems such as Gaudi’s Casa Battló, La Pedrera and other famous houses like the Casa Amatller by Puig i Cadafalch or the Casa Lleó Morera by Domenech i Montaner.

Although perfectly located for enjoying Barcelona, the neighborhood maintains its local atmosphere with the newly renovated Paseo Sant Joan, where you will see the neighborhood come alive with café terraces, urban playgrounds, local grocery and flower shops, pharmacies and bakeries.

If shopping is what you are interested in, Paseo de Gracia and Portal d’Angel can be found just off of Plaza Catalunya, a 10-minute walk. In between these famous shopping streets is the Corte Ingles department store where you can find a gourmet supermarket.

GETTING AROUND

Within 10-minutes’ walking you can be in Plaza Catalunya where you will find public transport to any spot in the city, such as the MNAC and Montjuic, as well as the bus to the airport or the Barcelona Tourist Bus. 10-minutes in the other direction will take you to the Arc de Triomf, and you will find the city’s Parc de la Ciutadella, ideal for a leisurely stroll or exercise. The Barcelona Zoo is inside the park, and just to the side is the bohemian Born neighborhood famous for artists, bars and restaurants. The Picasso museum and Palau Guell are both located within walking distance.

Nearby bus lines: 0-56-7-54-51-19 (Gran Via de les Cortes Catalanes).

Nearby metro stations: Yellow line L4 (Girona station) Purple Line L2 (Tetuan Station). Both situated 2-minutes’ walk away.

HOUSE RULES

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED ANYWHERE INSIDE THE FLAT. But please feel free to use the terrace to do so.

SILENCE: It's a very quiet neighborhood and building, so after 11:00 pm things should be calmed down so we don't disturb the neighbors. The terrace cannot be used for gatherings after 10:00 pm.

As this is a residential building it is important to respect the neighbors. The locals are going about their daily lives and request a quiet and calm environment.

LATE CHECK-INS:

There is a surcharge of 30 euros for check-ins between 9:00 pm and 12:00 am. Check-ins after 12:00 am have a surcharge of 50 euros.

Great apartment in a great location

Really great apartment with a perfect location for exploring Barcelona. Metro station is just steps away. Walking distance to great sites too! Building is secure and also has a life, even though the apartment is only one flight up the stairs. Other than some construction noises in the area, the apartment was quiet. It was clean and well appointed. The hosts were welcoming and responsive and went out of their way to help us book our transportation. Didn't look like too many apartments in the area offer a terrace and this apartment has a spacious private terrace, a true bonus! Would definitely recommend this apartment to others and would love to stay there again if I get the opportunity.

Very clean and spacious

The apartment was wonderful, property managers are very welcoming and easy to get in contact with. It is located right next to the metro. Best part about the apartment is the terrace!

Spacious, comfortable and excellent customer service!!

I cannot say enough great things about the apartment. Every detail was attended to, including a"welcome" kit including wine, coffee, toast, tea, etc. The terrace is incredible and the neighborhood was safe. The bathroom is the largest European bathroom I have ever enjoyed. The apartment was quiet and conveniently located near metro stops. Highly recommended.

The apartment is not the only wonderful part of the experience. The level of service provided by Apartments BCN - the manager of this unit -was unlike anything experienced before. From the moment the inquiry was made, until the time of checkout, every person we had the pleasure of working with was a delight. If this particular unit ended up being unavailable in the future, I would highly recommend the services of Apartments BCN. They know how to treat their customers like gold.

This was a very spacious and enjoyable apartment to stay in, and quite central. The apartment was well appointed and the bathroom was large and spa-like,but unfortunately there was a strong smell of drains.

Also, it would have been nice to have a couple of basics in the apartment, including toilet paper and bottled water.

wonderful place. 3 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths was perfect for myself and 2 adult daughters. Location very close to metro, restaurants and shopping. Made visiting Barcelona a wonderful trip.

Location is Fabulous

I highly recommend Gemma and her husband to rent from. We got to the apartment before it was ready but we were able to put our bags inside and sight see until it was ready. Everything was just as promised. I had read every review so I had a lot of my questions and concerns answered before renting. Gemma and her husband are very trustworthy people. They were very helpful in the explanation of the are and transportation. They provided suggestions on what to see and places not to miss. Great tips on keeping yourself and your belongings safe. I am a neat freak and the apartment was clean to my standards. And I have VERY HIGH standards. It was great having the half bath to get ready in as that was one thing we noticed. There weren't many mirrors In The apartment. The shower /tub was Sooo clean and it had great water pressure and plenty hot water for all four of us to shower. We all thought very highly of the price and quality as wee as the couple we rented from. We would all recommend this apartment with its beautiful LARGE deck. My only small suggestions would be to include toilet paper, paper towel, kleenex and a dish rag and dish towel. The little store below the apartment had all of these items so it was totally fine not to have them included but Personally I would add those items into the cleaning fee, I think it would be a great added service. (Just a small suggestion). This place couldn't have been in a better location nor could it have been owned by a nicer more accommodating couple. We hope to stay with you again In The future.
