Located in a partly converted warehouse in one of Hong Kong’s most desired residential areas, the Loft Suite in Sheung Wan is the epitome of luxury city living. This ultra cool residence is located in one of the Hong Kong Island’s more interesting districts, Sheung Wan in the Northwest of Hong Kong Island. It is ideally located for one’s stay in Hong Kong, close to the MTR (Hong Kong’s subway network), the local tram (also called Ding-Ding), the Western Market (where the British first entered and occupied Hong Kong) and many other shops, supermarkets, laundry services, restaurants and cafes located nearby.
This two bedroom apartment has been superbly laid out to accommodate up to 6 adults and a toddler comfortably. There is one bedroom with a queen sized bed; another bedroom with two beds that can also convert to a queen sized bed; a convertible sofa bed for two in the living room, an air bed for one and a cot should a baby be in tow. All bedding is anti-allergic. You have a full kitchen with washer/dryer and bath

The apartment benefits from being air-conditioned and there is access to FREE high speed broadband internet both LAN & WiFi, a full HD flat screen TV local and international programming; a Playstation III (PS3) bluRay DVD player and game console with a well stocked film and game library; the apartment’s telephone line with FREE calls to all local telephone numbers; as well as an in-house safety deposit box for the storage of all your valuables during your time at the apartment.
There is a well equipped kitchen for the preparation of meals whilst you are staying with us, with an induction cooker, large refrigerator and freezer, microwave oven, coffee maker, water dispenser, and sufficient amounts of pots pans, china, cutlery (western and Asian style), should one want to prepare meals in-house at the apartment. There is additionally the convenience of a washing machine with build-in dryer, should one want to do laundry during one’s stay at the apartment. Outside, there is plenty of outdoor space with a playground and public garden being just mere steps from the building’s entrance. Sometimes called the other side of Hong Kong, Sheung Wan still retains many of the pleasurable aspects of the Hong Kong of old. We had such a pleasant stay in this flat!
The neighborhood is really nice, I didn't meet Rolf but his helper who's been extremely helpful to us.
The flat is actually big and handy, it was perfect.
Just bear in mind that there is a elevator, but you need to climb a few stairs to get to it (not much) or use the side entrance where it's just 3 steps.
The doorman is absolutely adorable and helpful also.

Sheung Wan is one of the oldest districts on Hong Kong Island and has retained some the architectural character of the past that harks back to the Old Chinese and British way of life on Hong Kong Island, retaining many of the old low rise buildings that are still in existence today; with a lot of these buildings still being home to traditional crafts and way of life that was prevalent amongst the citizens of Hong Kong a few generations back. This unique mix of old and new has given the area its unique character, with the area still home to traditional arts and crafts, old Chinese printers, antique shops and traditional restaurants now sitting next to a mix of international and local designers, new cafés, boutiques, art galleries and more all sharing space with some of the older more traditional aspects of a bygone era of Hong Kong’s history.
Being so ideally positioned, the apartment is well located for exploring the sights and sounds of all of Hong Kong with many of Hong Kong’s attractions located nearby. Historically, Sheung Wan is the site one of the earliest British settlements on Hong Kong Island, with the original occupation of Hong Kong Island by British forces back in 1842 taking place in nearby Possession Street, between Queen’s Road Central and Hollywood Road.
Sheung Wan has a rich historical background with many of the Hong Kong’s wonderful heritage sites located nearby. Historical sites such as the the Man Mo Temple at 124-126 Hollywood Road, the largest such temple on the island, the Ladder Streets, the Hollywood Road Park, the Central Market, the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, the Macao and Central Ferry Pier, the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences and the Queen Street Rest Garden are all within easy reach from the apartment’s prime location. Even closer you will find cafes, bars and restaurants (local and international) as well as laundry services, grocery shopping, Wing On department store, drug stores etc
