Our 6000 sq ft luxury hacienda in close proximity to downtown, is tucked away in the beautiful hills of Westlake and described in Austin Home Magazine as "perched on a hillside...surrounded by a green canopy overlooking a bend in the lake...this spacious home is an homage to the Mexican hacienda aesthetic." There is exquisite attention to detail throughout the home, from custom antiques doors, hand carved stone fireplaces, hand painted Mexican tile and high-end interior design. This beautiful home nods to Mexican hacienda traditions but incorporates modern touches and high quality comforts such as a state of the art steam shower, outdoor shower, large workout room, full-house integrated sound system and entertainment system, spectacular art collection, luxury linens, infinity pool and hot tub, courtyard with hand carved fountain, stone columns, Wolf indoor range top and outdoor kitchen w/ a gas grill and a pellet smoker and WiFi. Two story boat dock on lake w/ ping pong table upstairs and sun deck. A recent addition we call "the man cave" boasts a beautiful library sitting area, cocktail bar, 70-in TV, private bathroom and covered access to the garage.

For those that love lake activities the property has 100+ ft of lake front (finger off Lake Austin). Our favorite pastime is a late afternoon surf with cocktails, watching the sunset on the lake and mingling with neighbors in the cove. Feel free to rent a boat or check out any of the Lake Austin restaurants such as Abel's or Hula Hut, or event Mozart's for a coffee, pastry, and early morning surf. Our property includes a private gated entrance with code-access only, and 3-car garage. Our home is perfect your Austin getaway!

  • The master bathroom is a force to be reckoned with! A roomy, 'Tea for Two' tub looks out on secluded grove of trees, black mosaic tiled steam shower w/ 6' bench for reclining, 4 shower heads, steam is timed and very easy to operate. There is a glass door leading to a sml private deck with an outdoor shower. A separate bathtub is spacious and overlooks a beautiful grove of trees. The guest bathrooms are completed in a very clean and spacious style w/ top of the line shower heads, faucets and finish out.

There is a large work out room (treadmill, free weights, yoga matts, Bosu ball, and other machines) on the first floor overlooking the pool and rolling green hills. The house is 2-story and is wheel-chair accessible on the first-level only. This rental is suitable for groups, and pets are allowed but will require an additional deposit. Smoking is allowed outside, but not inside the house.

Beautiful home in Westlake Hills, Austin.

The home was as lovely as shown in the pictures. The views from the backyard patio and pool are postcard quality. The home's interior finishes were gorgeous but still provided a relaxed and casual experience. The owner was responsive, professional and easy to work with. My family had a wonderful time and I'd highly recommend this property to my friends. Definitely a 5 star property!

Located 6 miles from downtown Austin, our property is tucked away in West Lake Hills with water-front access to Lake Austin. The back porch view from our hacienda-style estate overlooks the lush green hills from the infinity pool and recessed hot tub. With access to Lake Austin, paddle boards, and boat dock w/ ping pong table and sun deck on 2nd level, our property is perfect for lake activities. In a 10-minute drive you can access amenities such as Whole Foods Market, premier yoga studios and gyms, paddling boarding and kayaking, cycling, banks/ATMs, downtown restaurants and nightlife, and Austin's Lake Austin running trails. For the health conscious, we recommend Daily Juice, located on Bee Caves Road, for all your raw/vegan and fresh juice needs. Our favorite restaurant, Perla's, is located on South Congress Ave and is known for specialty cocktails, oysters, champagne, and the freshest seafood in town. The patio seating is perfect for dogs, and that's where we take our white lab, Betty, on Sunday afternoons! Pets are welcome:)
