Immaculate house with spectacular views and water activities at your fingertips!

Patsy & Warren were exceptional hosts! On day 1 we were greeted with a warm New England smile and a tour of the house. Everything you can think of (and probably some you haven't!) are included in the house, with enough kitchen accessories to cook gourmet meals and 8 lobsters at a time. The hummingbird feeders provided plenty of lively morning visitors while you enjoy a cup of tea overlooking the water. We can't say enough about the pristine beach we launched canoes and kayaks from, as well as floated lazily in the lake on our floats we brought from home. Make sure to pack a lunch and canoe across the lake to explore the many coves and a few islands. We were treated to bald eagles, a family of loons, and a few frogs while on the lake. There is no end to the scenic sites outside the home as well. The home made a great base camp for day activities such as white water rafting on the Penobscot at NEOC, moose watching between Greenville and Kokadjo (13 moose in 4 days!!), and hiking. There is one major grocery store on Route 15 coming into Greenville, so make sure to stop there and also top off your tank (cheapest gas for the area). All in all, an amazing week in an even more amazing house rental!

Beautiful house! Beautiful Lake!

  • 5 of 5

Patsy and Warren, Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We had the best week ever! The house was perfect and stocked with everything you could ever need for a week away! We had beautiful, cool weather but we were still able to swim right from our private area during the day. Star gazing at night on the deck was the best and of course the camp fires too. We would love to come back again!!

Lakeside Delight

  • 5 of 5

Thank you to Patsy for sharing her wonderful lakeside home. It is a spacious, well maintained, spotless property with lovely views to the lake below. The house is very comfortable with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The gardens are lovely and well maintained. We enjoyed very much swimming in the beautiful clean lake as well as fishing and canoeing. A very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend a stay here.

A beautiful home! Spacious, clean and full of light. Pretty view of lake.

Small deck above rocks. Rock "steps" down to beach from deck but may need assistance (I have balance and height issues). Great little stone beach, nice little swimming area and good fishing! Had a couple of beautiful sunsets too!

We brought kayaks and kayaked from here but also took them to Lilly Bay State Park (7 miles south of Greenville) so that we could swim and picnic too. Lovely.

Very quiet and relaxing - fire pit, front deck and screened porch. Aahh.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We do post a picture of the stones that lead down to the water. My husband is standing next to the water access in the picture so potential guests have an idea of how far it is down to the water and what the access is like. It was great meeting you all and you are welcome back anytime.

The location of the place is great! We were looking for something very secluded and away from civilization, and that's the right place to be! The house is very clean and has everything you would need to spend excellent couple of days! We did lots of fishing, kayaking, sitting by the fire and grilling out! We even saw a moose!! Too bad we didn't go on the plane that flies to oversee the lake and the mountain because the weather didn't cooperate, but there's always a next time :). Thank you guys for letting us stay at your beautiful home for Memorial Day weekend! All of us enjoyed it very much!

Oasis in the north woods

Stayed w inlaws and another couple with a young child. Patsy was efficient communicator and everything was as described. Loved screened in porch w grill. Beautiful kitchen and rooms. Weather didn't cooperate for sunset unfortunately. Location was perfect for getting off the grid. Rocky lake beach. Heard loons at night. Bring dvd's as there is a player. Also plenty of shows on tv, puzzles, board games.
