One of the best views on Maui, this 3 bedroom condo is about as close to the ocean as you can get. The beach is just steps away, with views of Lanai and Molokai. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. Free wireless internet! The pool has 2 BBQ's for dining in and the kitchen is fully stocked.

A complete remodel has just been completed October 2010. New granite countertops in the kitchen and both bathrooms, new tile in both showers, new carpet in the bedrooms. The kitchen is entirely new, with new cabinets and a new range, and the entire condo has new paint.

Best Vacation

My family and I stayed at this home in January 2016. I have to say it was one of the best experiences we have had with rental properties. After my last stay in October (different property), I was ready to head back to the resorts. I am so glad I decided to give property rentals on more chance. We had everything we needed and the beach truly was just steps away from the condo. The beach is a great, sandy, swimmable beach! We snorkeled, kayaked, and paddle boarded right from the shore (we rented the equipment and it was worth it). Yes, there were sea turtles for those of you who love them, like my family. You could see the whales too, which is why we go every January. They were very active the week we stayed on the island. The condo is in good shape. It does show signs of use, but for a rental property it is in good shape. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The microwave was not working when we arrived but the manager replaced it pronto. I definitely would rent this condo again! Thank you for the late check out too, it was worth the extra money as our flight did not fly out until the late evening.

Can’t get closer to the beach!

Perfect space for two couples, three children (8,8,6), and a 10 month old baby, although I wouldn’t recommend more people than that. The house had all the kitchen supplies we needed. We cooked breakfast most mornings and dinner on a couple nights and utilized the BBQs at the pool. The property had a brand new Pack-n-Play we were able to use. The room with 2 beds fit the other 3 kids nicely. The unit had a nice stackable washer/dryer plus a “beach closet” filled with beach towels, toys, boogie boards, skim board, pool noodles, and flotation tubes just to name a few.

The property was clean when we arrived, but I can see why Harlan, the owner, made a point to have us all wash off the sand at the pool side shower before heading in, the sand really gets all over the place even when your trying to keep it off!

The location has to be the best part about this place, we saw a whale from our balcony on day one and a huge turtle was hanging out 50 yards down the beach our whole visit, your not only on the beach and have an amazing view of the sunset every night, but you are also 10 min from so many other cool spots like, places for a lazy sandy beach day, a walk out on the Dragons Teeth, golfing, shopping at Whalers Village and Front street, several nice restaurants and large resort activities, we were fortunate enough to experience all these things on our 7 nights on the island.

I’ve read the other reviews and feel the complaints are a bit nit picky, I mean the Internet wasn’t the best connection. If the Internet connectivity is a major request, maybe this place isn’t for you. I travel 60 days a year and stay primarily at hotels, I go on trips expecting Internet issues. Always have a backup plan! I couldn’t tell you if the TV worked, we never turned it on. I highly recommend unplugging your devices if you go. It was a great location for our best family vacation yet.

Take-Out food: Honokowai Okazuya (Harlan recomended), Fish Market Maui, and Joeys Kitchen (spareribs).

Dessert: find a guy selling organic shave ice out the back of his Red Toyota Truck, but he’s always moving he was near The Blow Hole (think he’s unlicensed), we also enjoyed the Hula Pie at Dukes Beach House inside the Honua Kai Resort (an amazing place to bring the kids at twilight and have them swim in the many shallow pools, it’s for guests but we chanced it and had a blast)

Location was great, but there were issues, including the owner.

The location was great and we saw whales from our balcony. However, we did not have internet for our stay, until the last day. We accepted the owner's excuse that it was because of the wind. However, we spoke with neighbors and their internet was working. It turns out the modem was unplugged. Silly me, I thought things should be in working order before guests arrive. The kitchen and baths were mostly updated. However, the upstairs shower knob fell off, the towels (enough for 6 only, so we had to keep rewashing), had bleach stains. The sofa and loveseat was uneven that you had to prop yourself to sit evenly with a pillow, and more seating would have been nice. The window in the downstairs bedroom was broken. The A/C did not work in one of the bedrooms, and a repairman had to be called after trying to reset the panel box and trying every button and plug. He got it working after about 10 minutes. Then the morning after our arrival there was a note on the door that they were going to spray insecticide (on my bday), and we were to clear off all counters. There were not enough towel racks for the six of us, and the towel rack in the bottom bathroom was broken. Then the owner tried to blame us for a screen tear that was there when we arrived, then tried to charge us $75 for it. The upstairs bath door would not properly close/seal, which caused it to constantly hit the door jam due to winds. And bring some good toilet paper! There is only a small soap bar in the shower and sink, so bring your sundries. Harlan did not consider any credit even though we had to use our own data for most of our stay.

Every expectation was met during our stay here- amenities, cleanliness, ease and comfort, approximity to beach, etc. We will be staying here again numerous times throughout the year. I highly recommend this property for anyone!

Amazing view
