About this property

Coral Caye Villa offers beautiful landscaping and gorgeous views overlooking the pool, Caribbean Sea, and palm trees from your own private balcony.

Situated about 4 miles north of San Pedro Town, the home is within easy distance of fishing, taking the island ferry into town for shopping and nightlife or further north up the island to great restaurants and quaint bars. The Villa sits in the middle of 5 private homes faces directly onto the ocean and is surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowers which add to the privacy and serenity of the location.

The main upper level includes a bright and spacious living area that opens to the kitchen, dining area, and balcony which overlooks the pool and ocean. French doors to the balcony allow you to let in the view and the warm tropical breezes. BBQ up some fresh-caught local fish or relax in your own hammock built for two while watching the boat traffic go by and the waves rolling over the barrier reef. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private en-suite bathroom featuring hand-painted his and her sinks and a large walk-in shower with spacious closets and storage for all your vacation needs. Safes are included to store your important items in each bedroom. The guest bedroom also features a king-size bed and master en-suite with a shower and his and her sinks. Both bedrooms are located on the lower level and have separate private entrances to the beach level. Simply walk out your door and into the pool or ocean!

Within easy walking distance on the beach, there are restaurants, bars, and shops. Located directly behind the house is Mata Grande Grocery which can provide you with almost everything you’ll need for your stay. Justin and Tami also provide provisioning services so that your groceries and cold Belikin beers can be waiting for you on arrival. A short walk south on the beach takes you to White Sands Dive Shop where Elbert and his team can arrange snorkeling and diving excursions for you. Tell them Max and Debi sent you! Slip-on your fins and you’ll find beautiful healthy coral and marine life including our resident loggerhead turtles and even a stingray or two!

Our management company, Reef Management, will arrange for your transfers to and from the San Pedro airport, included in your rental, and can assist you with booking tours and excursions. All that’s left for you is to unpack and relax!

Ambergris Caye has much to offer and we are certain that once you’ve experienced La Isla Bonita you’ll want to come back time and again!

Just the vacation I needed.

I have stayed at Caye Villas numerous times over the years. It is one of my absolute favorite places. The grounds are immaculate and the villas are well maintained & equipped with most anything you might need. I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Low-key slice of paradise

Our family of four (kids ages 13 and 11) had a lovely time at this spacious and well-stocked home. Damien, the caretaker, was very attentive and kind, and we enjoyed hanging out with the gentle dog Rocky. The pool was also lovely and the kids liked the available floaters. The highlight was our all-day snorkeling excursion to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Caye Caulker with Clinton. It was a stunning, intimate, one-of-a-kind experience! It was also easy and fun to rent a golf cart with Damien’s help.

Love Coral Caye Villa

We stayed here 12 years ago and when we decided to come back to San Pedro, we decided to stay at Coral Caye Villa again. Great decision. Lovely place, comfortable beds and furniture, great balcony overlooking the pool and gardens, very workable kitchen, plenty of A/C when needed. We rented a golf cart for our 2 week stay from Rock’s. The golf cart and Tropic Air flights were arranged in advance by Reef Management which was very helpful. The property is about 5 miles north of town….the roads have improved somewhat but it is still a bumpy 25 minute cart ride into town. We tended to go to close by restaurants by the end as the bumpy ride just got to be too much. Other than enjoying the beautiful Caye Villas pool and property, our favorite things we did was to go on the Belize Food Tour and to visit the Iquana Sanctuary. Did make it over to Secret Beach but it was just too windy/wavy for us to go out on a snorkeling/fishing tour. Coral Caye Villa is now up for sale. Hope it remains in the rental pool going forward as it is a great place to stay.

Great two week getaway

It was perfect for two couples. Damian does an amazing job keeping up the property and looking after the guests. We love sitting by the pool and sitting on our deck with the sea breeze. Having housekeeping at a VRBO was wonderful. We were happy to have the Whiney Gringa nearby to buy extra supplies and the pizza place next-door was wonderful.

Home for us is in Canada. Originally from Quebec and Ontario we now live in the western part of the country in Vancouver British Columbia. While Vancouver offers great weather and sits on the ocean we spend many cold nights dreaming of getting back to Ambergris Caye and the warm tropical breezes. We both work in the restaurant industry and are avid divers spending every minute we can in the water! We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay at Coral Caye Villa and come back to see us often!

Why they chose this property

Having traveled to Belize we fell in love with the people the country and the diving! We then researched the many dive sites surrounding Belize and discovered Ambergris Caye. After two days on the island we were hooked. The gentle nature of the people the beauty of the island and the variety of things to do and see along with the ability to de-stress instantly captured our hearts. From there we decided to look at homes and contacted Chris and Amanda at Sunrise Reality. Chris took us to see the property and when we walked in the door at Coral Caye we knew we were home! We love being in Ambergris, hate to leave it and spend most days wishing we were back! We’re sure you will agree that La Isla Bonita is aptly named and that you will also fall in love with this little tropical island gem in the Caribbean Sea!

What makes this property unique

We love the people the tranquility and the warm ocean breezes that come through the French doors on the balcony. We enjoy lying in the hammock lazily swinging back and forth while reading; BBQ'ing fresh local fish caught only hours before and the amazing diving and snorkeling right at our doorstep. We’ve made some great new discoveries at the local restaurants and some wonderful new friends on the island as well. A favorite place to go is the Mamba restaurant just north of the house on the beach and also the Rojo.
