CONTACT OWNER FOR BOOKING DETAILS. The Fig Tree Inn was previously run as a Bed and Breakfast; however, we now offer it as a whole house vacation rental. We have retained the B&B feel and charm so every bedroom, 6 of them, has a theme and your own bathroom, yes that's 6, and the common areas beg for gatherings or relaxing together. The Inn is great for your family getaway, girls weekend, golf retreat or any other reason you may need to get away. The first floor has 2 bedrooms. The Seaside room with a King size bed and walk-in shower and the Nautical Room with a Queen size bed and tub/shower combo. The living area, dining porch and kitchen are also on the first floor. The second floor, accessed through an outside entrance, has 4 bedrooms. The Coral Reef and Pelican rooms with Queen size beds and shower/tub combos, the Sand Dollar room with a King size bed and jacuzzi tub and finally the Palm room with 2 twins beds and a shower/tub combo. Each bedroom has a TV for relaxing after a long day of fun. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a deluxe 6 burner/double oven gas stove. There is ample parking and lots of outside areas to enjoy the beach breeze or walk the block to feel the sand between your toes. The Inn is located within walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Pier and great nightlife spots. Take a look and picture yourself in this relaxing setting in beautiful Jacksonville Beach.

About Lori Watson

Native to Jacksonville with a few years off for good behavior, we feel Jacksonville is the best place to live or at least vacation! We turned "The Little Beach House" into a vacation rental in 2012 and found such a need, we decided to try our hand at a Bed and Breakfast. We have had so many people express the desire to enjoy the Inn for large gatherings that we decided to offer the Inn as a whole house vacation rental. We have updated all the common areas and made it a very welcoming and relaxing environment.

Why Lori Watson chose Florida

The Fig Tree Inn is a very comfortable old Florida Beach Cottage with all the updated amenities of home. You can enjoy the front porch for feeling the beach breezes or any of the other outside areas for group entertainment. You're only 1 block to the beach and within walking distance to many of the local restaurants should you want a little break from cooking! If you are visiting during any of the festivals, those are only 4 blocks away and you are always just a short walk to the cool shops in the area and local nightlife spots. We have ample parking; however, once you arrive you can keep the car parked if you prefer not to drive!

Fantastic B&B-like house

We highly recommend Fig Tree for a big group. With 6 bedrooms, each with a bath, it was perfect for our large group. It's a former B&B with a large kitchen and patio area where a dozen adults could dine together easily. Nice location just a block from the beach. The owner was great and we hope to return.

We rented the Fig Tree Inn for some of our family to stay in for our wedding. It was more than perfect! Our New York family is already talking about coming down for a weekend next Winter to escape the snow and enjoy the Florida sun! We used it as a central "hub" for hanging out (we had sooo many out of town guests). We also used their Fig Room for a fun "after rehearsal dinner party" and the next morning the girls got ready there and OH.MY.GOSH it was so beautifully perfect! I would highly recommend this venue and additional event space for family vacations and wedding weekends. You literally can't make a better choice! Just so completely perfect!

mayfield, ny - Adirondack Mountains

comfortable, casual, convenient

Ten active cousins, all over 70, get together every other year someplace in the country to spent a week together. With six bedrooms and six bathrooms the vintage Fig Tree provided the right mix of public and private spaces. The enclosed dining porch was a special spot in the morning for Breakfast, and in the evening for Hot Poker games. The front porch and upper deck with ample seating and wonderful breezes were perfect locations for catching up and telling stories.

The beach is beautiful, house has an outside shower takes care of the sand. More than ample off street parking even for a small RV. Kitchen is equipped with everything you want and more. However do not miss the "Gourmet Chef "two doors down who prepares meals you just take home put in the oven for a no kitchen clean up dining-in delight.

Around the corner on 5th is The Ugly Cupcake Muffinry and Cafe with the Texas size Muffins and healthy Breakfast and Lunch offerings not to be missed. Beachside Seafood has the freshest seafood and is walkable in two ish blocks.

The best experience is owner Lori. I called her Super Lori. We had a number of unusual request and she provided everything without question or hesitation. I have been renting homes for over 35 year and Lori is the Best!!!! Thank You Lori for everything.

Great place for a large group

We had a wonderful stay at this location. We had 6 couples total and a few little ones with us. The place was perfect for all. The location to the beach and shopping was perfect.

Each couple chose a bedroom according to their needs and wishes.

The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could want or need. Lori was wonderful to work with and was no nice with all my questions. Thank you so much for your time! Lots of games and beach stuff comes with the rental as well. Lots of amenities that you do not find in other VRBO rentals

We brought in dinner one night, BBQ'd another and then had a catered affair on our last evening. The back porch was a great hang out for games and dinner and chatting. The porches (Both up and downstairs) were wonderful for just sitting outside and chatting while it was raining.

The weather was not so cooperative but we managed to get in some beach time with kids and grandkids while the men played golf.

Would highly recommend this place.

We are settled in the residential area of South Jacksonville Beach with all the activities of Jacksonville Beach within a short 4 block walk. We are 1 block from the beach so you can enjoy early morning sunrises right out your front door. Walk to the beach, many local restaurants, fun eclectic shops, the Jacksonville Pier, festivals or many local nightlife spots.

You are a very short drive from Mayo, TPC Sawgrass or the international airport. We are also only 45 minutes from St. Augustine.
