Wonderful family house fully furnished with all the amenities that you would expect in your own home. Built in 1904 and beautifully restored. Home has nice architectural details such as original plaster moulding, heart-pine hardwood floors, french doors opening to a wonderful porch where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and experience new orleans like a new orleanian !!! Charming home in a classic neighborhood that is convenient to so many attractions such as Audubon park/zoo/golf course/tennis courts. The st. charles ave. street car is a short 3 block walk. Historic Magazine st. is only 6 blocks. Very convenient area with easy access to uptown (Tulane & Loyola universities), carrollton/riverbend, downtown/warehouse district & the historic garden district and french quarter. Hundreds of restaurants within a few minutes. The bedrooms are independent (THIS IS NOT A SHOTGUN HOUSE) and there is a sofa bed which allows for 2 more to sleep (house sleeps 6 total). washer/dryer is inside for your convenience. Home has a fully equipped kitchen with all appropriate cooking utensils, microwave, coffee pot and blender.

My husband and I have been married for 10 years and have 3 young children, 6 yrs.,4 yrs., and 1 yr. we have had the pleasure of staying in countless B & B's, VRBO's and cabins. This property is hands down a 5-star experience. All the sheets, towels, linens, pillows and kitchen equipment are brand new. The house is as clean as it can be and best of all, it is clutter-free. Enjoyed 5 days there for Jazzfest. It was very comfortable for 2 couples with grocery store across the street.
Very nice home in a great location. Features to enjoy - nice front porch with chairs to sit and relax, great, large yard... very comfortable, clean interior of the home - kitchen with modern applicanes and Keurig, two large bedrooms and two full baths. Location is a great benefit - very walkable area (a beautiful area to walk) - easy access to all area of New Orleans. Another benefit - nice market across the street from the home - very convenient.

We are a family of 5. The home is well furnished and kitchen well equipped. Outdoor patio and grill area with large yard makes for a great place to hang out for drinks and conversation. The home is spacious clean and very comfortable. The owner, Steve, was very responsive and came to the house within minutes to handle a small problem caused by the utility company. He is a great guy. We will definitely stay here again.

We spent Thanksgiving week here. The house was just as described by the owner and in the reviews. While a bit noisy in the morning, we found the location directly across the street from Langensteins Market to be very convenient. The house is charming and the neighborhood is lovely. We felt very safe walking all around. It is an easy walk to Magazine Street and to Audubon Park. The owner provided great, detailed information with everything we needed to know about the house. Yes! We would definitely return again and happily recommend this house to friends and family.
