High-Spec one bedroom flat in the heart of Notting Hill Gate in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Fast Wi-Fi and European Super King-Size Bed. Natural stone bathroom with a bath tub and shower. Natural hardwood floors through out the flat. Dimmer switches in all the rooms, to create whatever mood you see fit. There's a lift/elevator in the building, so you get to enjoy the benefits of being on the top floor, with out having to climb four floors.
Full equipped kitchen, with everything you would need to cook yourself even the most elaborate meal. There's a Nespresso machine, with coffee provided for those, who like me wake up in the throws of caffeine withdrawal!
Notting Hill Gate tube station is less than 3 minutes walk away (10 mins to Oxford or Bond St on the tube) and there are numerous buses nearby that will take you into the West End as well.
Perfectly placed to sample the restaurants of Kensington, Notting Hill and Westbourne Grove. Just tell me what type of cuisine you like, and i'll give you the best suggestions I can think of.
Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are only about 5 minutes walk from the flat. The London flagship Whole Foods store is a 10 minute walk away on Kensington High Street. worth it!
Portobello Rd market is a 5 - 10 minute walk from the flat. Perfect for those of you who like hunting around for strange items.
Large Plasma Screen TV, with Netflix available. Access to normal UK freeview, with all the BBC channels. White towels and linen are freshly washed for you're arrival. You can use everything in the flat, as this is purely a rental, I never live here.
Look no further for a spacious 1 bedroom flat in one of the best areas of London. My husband and I spent six nights at this Notting Hill flat which was perfectly situated within a short distance from the tube and bus thoroughfare. It was also a short walk to the Portobello market on Friday or Saturday mornings , to Kensington Garden/Palace. The Notting Hill area is fabulous with every type of food choice you could desire close by. The owner Ben is super easy to work with and answers all emails very quickly. Great place-Great city.
My husband and I stayed in this flat for 4 nights and were very happy with the rental. It was well-equipped, comfortable and so convenient. The bed was an A+ For comfort. We slept like babies there. We enjoyed being a few blocks from Hyde Park and Notting Hill Gate which seemed to be only a few stops on the Tube to anywhere we wanted to go. We loved walking to Notting Hill's shops and restaurants - the Granger and the Oak were great. We visited Paul Rhodes bakery for some good coffee every morning. The only down side was the washer/dryer which was a bit hard to figure out, and the water pressure wasn't great, which Ben told us about. It wasn't a huge issue for us since the water was hot at least.
My husband and I stayed for 10 days in October. Flat was clean and comfortable and best of all, location was perfect. Very short walk to Notting Hill Station ....only two stops from Paddington for day trips out of town. Plenty of places to eat within a short walk. Netflix was a bonus on nights we were so tired from touring all day. Would recommend it and stay again ourselves.
Very clean and modern. Great neighborhood with fantastic restaurants. Close to the tube and many great sightseeing opportunities. Can't say enough good things about the host, Ben. He went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our time in London.
Thank you, Ben!
This is a spacious, well presented property in a really great location close to the Hotting Hill Gate tube station and lots of buses. The apartment is in a quiet street ensuring a good nights sleep even with the window open. A short walk to Kensington Palace Gardens a bonus for early morning walks. Also close to the beautiful Holland Park. Everything needed was in the apartment including a good washing machine, the bed was comfortable, good pillows and plenty of space to spread out. It was warm when we were there and we had a nice breeze with the windows open, although it may get hot on a really hot day as on the top floor. Would definitely recommend. Peter and Fiona
Ben's flat was everything that was represented on the site and more. To begin, he made the booking a breeze. His response time was immediate and continued to be immediate regarding all of my follow up questions concerning details of the flat and the surrounding area. I arrived early (really early) and Ben was extremely kind and accommodating which was so appreciated as I was a single traveler with heavy luggage and a heavy dose of jet lag! The pictures (although nice) don't due justice to the flat. I loved the view of London from the bedroom window; the meticulous organization and abundance of living necessities (like the endless supply of clean towels!); and the high functioning feature of every appliance. Entertainment and technological amenities were also flawless and easy to use. The location of the flat is to die for, beautifully encircled in traditional, pristine, Notting Hill residences (lots of young moms with buggies - adorable!) and a 15 minute walk to just about every great restaurant and shop. Ben provided a gem of a list of restaurants, grocery stores and shops and continued to answer my questions regarding "the goings on about town" throughout my stay in London. Safety was a big priority for me and the flat, building and location never once gave me cause for concern, rather were a great comfort. It was a lovely (temporary) home to return to after each magical day in London.
When I return I will definitely be staying at Ben's flat (if available!) again.
Just across the street from Kensington Palace Gardens and Hyde Park, definitely the two most beautiful London Parks. Great Shopping, Cafes and stunningly individual Shops on Portobello rd and Westbourne Grove (both 5 mins away). Very short trip by bus or tube into the West End (Bond St, Regents St and Oxford St) where any shopping needs can be met. Whole Foods Flagship in Kensington is also only 10 minutes walk away.
I could list all of the museums that it is worth visiting, but the list is endless. However if you book, i'll give you all the information you could need.
