Our peaceful condo is surrounded by evergreens with the sweet smell of pine and the fresh air of the mountains. It is just a short walk (about 400 yards) to the Peak 9 Quick Silver Lifts and two blocks from historic downtown Breckenridge. It is perfect for couples and small families looking for a mountain getaway!
Inside our condo is decorated Colorado Style with rustic log accents, art from local artists, a romantic gas fireplace, an extra cozy custom sleeper sofa with a 7 inch mattress (as compared to the normal 4 inch) and two lounge chairs.
The bedroom has a new luxury king size bed piled with pillows and as many warm blankets as you will need. There is a dresser and a full mirrored closet.
There is a pool house 20 yards away that has a large outdoor heated pool, two outdoor hot tubs, two indoor Jacuzzis, saunas and shower rooms that are all available to use during the ski season and again from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
Amenities: Our condo is in the Lances West complex on Broken Lance Drive - just one block west of Main Street on the south end of town. Directly across the street is a stop for the free shuttle bus that can take you to places throughout town and even connect you to free bus services to other area resorts such as Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain. The shuttle can get you closer to the lifts if you chose not to walk or it can bring you home after a long day of skiing. Through the shuttle services you can also visit the towns of Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne - home of the Factory Outlet Stores.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a variety of cookware, utensils and dishes to make everything from a Thanksgiving feast to macaroni and cheese (our kids' favorite). The refrigerator has an icemaker. We have a full range, dishwasher, microwave oven, blender, coffee maker, waffle iron, crock pot and a large pantry too.
We have wireless high speed internet access.
There is cable with an HDTV in both the bedroom and living area. The living area TV also has a DVD player as well as a separate CD/Stereo system. We even have a variety of board games, books and sleds.
Our condo is professionally cleaned and we provide towels and linens for you use during your stay. There are also coin operated laundry facilities in our building.
For the comfort of all our guests, please no smoking or pets.
As mentioned earlier, we have a cozy gas fireplace, a beautiful back balcony to sit on, the large outdoor pool with huge hot tubs and saunas. We also have an answering machine and ironing board with iron for your convenience too.
There is so much to do in Breckenridge! It is the ideal vacation any time of the year!
There is downhill skiing just steps away, cross country skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, sledding, snow-shoeing, snow mobile tours, dog sleds and more for the outdoor enthusiasts in the winter.
Area: Fabulous shopping and exquisite or casual dining are year round treats. The spring, summer and fall bring hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, fishing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, golf, tennis, horseback riding, alpine slides, theater, concerts, half-pipe skateboard park and much more!
It is a 400 yard walk west to the Peak 9 Lifts and Maggie Pond where in the winter you can ice skate and in the summer you can paddle boat while listening to concerts.
A small local grocery store is located about 6 blocks away but a larger grocery store at the other end of town is on the bus route or is a 35-40 minute walk.
Breckenridge is about a 20 minute drive to the marina of Lake Dillon where boats, kayaks, and canoes can all be rented.
There are over 50 miles of bike trails throughout Summit County that start just a few blocks from the condo and can take you all the way to Vail.
Hiking trails are just up the slope of the resort as it backs to National Forest.
We absolutely love Breckenridge! We have been to many of the ski resorts in the USA and haven't found one with the same quaint family friendly historic town and fabulous skiing combined. It is such a forgotten treasure in the summer too! We love skiing, biking, boating, hiking and just getting away from it all which makes Breckenridge a perfect fit for us.

This unit was our first Breckenridge property and we purchased it for it's great location to town and the Quicksilver lift as well as the nice layout and amenities it offers. The complex is small with only 5 units in our building and ours is situated so that we face away from the street. Inside has lots of windows, a large deck and a beautiful fireplace - things frequently asked for by renters. The huge pool and hot tubs were just icing on the cake!

My wife and I stayed in this condo and found it to be just exactly what we were looking for. The kitchen facilities were great. The fireplace was really enjoyable. The condo was very quiet. Coin operated laundry machines are available downstairs. The nearness to town was a great benefit.We were able to walk every place we wanted to go and leave the car at the condo. Although there is on street parking it is highly regulated and we saw many parking tickets on cars. We found many delightful places to eat in town with one of the best to be the Breckenridge Brewery. The food portions are huge and the selections and quality of food is outstanding. We did not try any of the brew but we were told it also is great. "Breckenridge Brewery" is one of the first businesses on the right side of the road traveling from the condo into town." In the center of town ( on the left side of the road traveling from the condo) is "Eric's." This is an interesting sports bar and their "garbage pizza" is out of this world good. They have change machines downstairs where quarters (for the laundry machines) can be obtained. There is a really big grocery store and post office one street to the right of the main street (traveling from the condo) in the center of town.
The location was great and the condo was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and we used the crock pot for a few meals. The only issue was towels for the hot tub. You have to bring your own towels for the hot tub and that seems quite unrealistic with everything you have to pack for a ski trip. It was easier for us to just skip towels but it was inconvenient.
The condo was very nice. Clean and cozy. Everything was in great condition. The walk to the slopes wasn't bad. The pool and jacuzzi were a bit of s disappointment. The jacuzzi chemicals were completely "out of normal" which resulted in a horrible rash. The pool was "being cleaned" during the hours of operation. But overall, if you just want to ski and looking for nice place to stay, great choice.
Close enough to walk to skiing at Breck, downtown shopping, and pool house. Had everything that we needed to cook our own meals in the kitchen. Overall a great place to stay.
Our condo is located just one block west of Main Street with the more exclusive town shops and restaurants just two blocks away. There is a walking path that goes between the other area complexes that takes you to the Quicksilver Lifts in less than a 10 minute walk. A beautiful outdoor pool with hot tubs is just one building over. The free shuttle services stop in front of the complex and will take you to places throughout town.

Golf: Breckenridge is the only town in the world that owns a Jack Nicklaus designed 27 hole golf course. The course has won many awards including 'Best Mountain Course' by Colorado Golfer. Breckenridge weather in the summer makes it a perfect place to play - you can enjoy the sunshine and avoid the heat. And if you really love golf, Keystone and Copper Mountain have courses as well just 20 minutes away.
Ski: Breckenridge is also home to a world class ski resort with five peaks to ski, the highest ski lift in the country and a great variety of levels to please all types of skiiers. This condo is located just two blocks away from the six person Quick Silver Lift next to Maggie Pond. The ski school is located near this lift as well. It is a fabulous family destination ski resort!
