Such a relaxing time for my husband and I. It's a great place to have down time. We sun bathed, played in the wonderful clear water, fished for dinner. If you want quietness this is the place. Ms. Mary is great to deal with. We want to return if our host will have us. Also, have a great neighbor that helps if you want to know where the locals go. We fell in love with this area. Glad it's a dog friendly beach. Our fur babies loved it also. Go to the Fort. Thanks again Mary.
The cottage was exactly what we wanted. Perfect for three sisters. The beach and the view was great, quiet, peaceful and relaxing.
Cozy cottage in a quiet location with a beautiful view. The cottage was clean and well kept and had everything we needed. The dogs loved running on the beach. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Mary was very helpful and informative. We will definitely be back!
Great little beach cottage! The place is dog friendly which was perfect beacuse I take my dog just about everywhere. He loved running on the beach and I enjoyed watching him do just that. The stores are close and the only time we left the beach was to go grocery shopping. The neighbors are very friendly and helpful if you happen to need anything. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back. Thank you guys so much!
We absolutely loved this place! It's nothing fancy, but it was clean, quiet, AND dog friendly. On top of that there was a huge front porch and a grill. The view of the water is spectacular, and your dog friends are welcome on the beach, which our canine pals loved!! We had so much fun there, the only outings we made were to get groceries and beer! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to have a friends weekend with their dogs, and I can't wait to visit again!
No cookie cutter condo here. This is gulf front vacationing as it used to be, before everything went large and corporate. Location is perfect - secluded beachfront yet only a few minutes from town and some really good seafood restaurants. Furnishings a bit aged but all clean and comfortable. House is well stocked with anything you could possibly need and everything worked. Great deck - the dog loved lying out in the wind and bird watching. Great customer service from the manager - very easy to work with. Do heed the note about the property not being suitable for the old or infirm as carrying the luggage thru the sand from the car and up the stairs is somewhat strenuous even for those of us who don't want to admit we are getting into the first of those categories. Would definitely recommend this property for a great beach vacation at an honest price.
This quaint cottage is located away from the hustle and bustle but be sure to check out the local golf courses, marinas, restaurants, water/amusement parks, Fort Morgan, The Zoo and the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.
