We enjoyed our stay at lake Berkley some updating needed on interior but overall happy.
Happy but improvements that could be made and issues we encountered. The dishwasher was not attached to the kitchen worktop upon our arrival, this was rectified quickly but the age and efficiency of the machine was very poor and we just did the dishes by hand. The toilet cistern on 2 of the toilets seemed to be leaking and looking at the bathroom furniture around them this had been happening for sometime. The repair man did rectify one of these but the other seemed to still drip. Entry to lake Berkeley estate could sometimes be a pain due to the security gate queue. Area around the pool needed tidying, the insulation blanket was all messed up and disintegrating. The cleaning net was also broken. The net was replaced and the blanket removed and area cleaned after we highlighted this. Plus points pool was great, beds comfortable, play garage fantastic liked the air hockey. General grounds well maintained, sofas and dining areas well appointed. Plenty of hot water. Location ok, close to Walmart.
We enjoyed our vacation at lake Berkeley but felt aspects mentioned above should have been dealt with prior to us staying at the property. Our general impression was nice place, good amenities but could do with a little TLC. Also a clothes dryer would have been useful.
