About Alan Lande

I have lived full time in Whistler for 20 years and I am a Certified Ski & Snowboard instructor as well as a Guiding Service. I take pleasure in sharing my Local Knowledge & Great Deals with you.

With my passion & long time experience (100+ days on snow per season for the past 12 years), it would be my pleasure & a ton of fun to show you ‘my mountains’ with many secret pockets & powder stashes, either on snowboard or skis.

Weather, snow, wind, light, etc. always change the ‘sweet spots’ in the mountains & without proper knowledge of these elements & the terrain, you cannot always be sure of finding the right places to match your ability.

Provided you are advanced-intermediate or above, I (or one of my colleagues) can expertly guide you to the BEST places of the day & make sure that you stay in YOUR zone – as opposed to finding yourselves in areas too easy, or too challenging.

We are all Certified Instructors, and offer ‘tips’ throughout the day, but this is free skiing/riding & NOT School!

The cost for this is usually $500 a day for up to 3 persons but as a Whistler's Best Guest you get it for $250. ($50 per person thereafter)

Sorry, we don’t have lift line privileges, but with our knowledge we know how to avoid lift lines. Please try to book this early, as it’s very popular.

Thank you so much for having us at your condo. We had heard a ton of rumours about the lack of snow and poor conditions, but based on our discussion with you that that we'd still be able to find some great skiing we decided to make the trip out.



Based on your recommendations we stuck to the Alpine and it was FANTASTIC! Sure there wasn't a foot of powder, but who can complain about spring skiing conditions! Your knowledge of the mountain was superb and we are so glad we decided to book with you. Our family had such a great time, and we hope that we are able to do it again sometime soon in the near future.

Whistler is amazing, great property location!

We had a lovely time! A couple issues with parking but Alan was easy to reach. You absolutely cannot beat the location of this property/unit and there is no shortage of things to do!

Front Row Seating

4 of us (2 adults / 2 kids) stayed in #402 and it was excellent. Can look down from the windows/balcony and check how long your lift line is going to be. Very comfortable and convenient to everything, including rental shop. Alan was an excellent host and kept in touch even though he was on the other side of the world. Sure hope to make it back for next season.

PERFECT for a family of 5!

My wife and I have 3 kids (ages 14, 12, 9) and unit 402 checked every single box for us.

LOCATION: you are in the heart and soul of all the action. Steps away from the unit are the lifts/gondolas, restaurants, apres action, supermarket, liquor store, movie theater, escape the room, endless shopping, ski/rental shops, bakeries, guest services for all outdoor activities, etc. Centrally located...this location is second to none.

ACCOMMODATIONS: We ate in quite a bit and the kitchen was well-equipped with pretty much everything you need. At night my wife and I slept in the master, the girls took the bunk beds in BR #2, and our son had the pullout in the living room. Everyone slept very comfortably. Open up the blinds in the morning and the breathtaking views of Whistler/Blackcomb become wall art....simply stunning.

COMMUNICATION WITH THE OWNER: Alan was great to work with and simply a class act. This being our first time to WB he was more than willing to go above and beyond in sharing much of his local knowledge with us (like avoiding "the triple Lande") so we could hit the ground running and explore in one piece. Whether by email or phone, Alan always made himself available to us. You won't find many owners this engaged in helping to plan the perfect vacation/stay.

All in all, #402 exceeded our expectations. There is no need for a car as everything is just a short walk or stumble away. It was great having a ski locker in the building to store our gear in before heading up to the room. The walk from the lifts/gondola to the lockers was short enough for even my 9 yr. old daughter to carry her own equipment to and from everyday! ....a dream for dads.

Simply put *This is where you want to stay while visiting Whistler*

Wow- just WOW

You couldn't have a better location- it feels every ski run funnels directly to your Condo! It's in the heart of the Apres Ski scene (but isn't noisy!) and a stones throw the all the best restaurants. And the view!!!!! All I have to say is WOW.
