LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! There is no other place on the Cape like this one! It is so rare to have 120 feet of private beach with no neighbors on either side of you. In fact, the person who originally constructed this beach home used to own the entire Cape San Blas Peninsula and he could have built anywhere on the Cape but he chose this site to construct his dream beach house. It is located on the very North End of the Cape, approximately 1000 feet from the entrance to the rated #1 beach at the State Park. This property is almost one acre and is surrounded by woods and wildlife with undisturbed dunes. Now that is some good history that no other vacation rental shares...

If you are new to the area, the further North on the Cape, the bigger the dunes, the water is clearer, and the color of the sea is bright blue. This home is not in a crowded subdivision, which means much more privacy and seclusion for you. The dolphins also agree as they frequently visit in large pods. What an amazing sight to see up close. Bring your fishing pole, explore the beach and see the turtle nests, spot the eagles catching their dinner, or just go for a simple swim with an alluring beautiful ocean. This home has it all!

'Hidden Treasure' is the true meaning of a beach house. The beautiful drive to the home through the woods is nestled among the trees and sits on a gorgeous 15-20 foot dune. This 120 foot Gulf front property is located on a very secluded and peaceful area of the beach.

Walk directly to the ocean on your own private boardwalk. No need to pack your lunch - the beach is only 25 feet from the house! The crystal blue water will make you feel as if you were on a Caribbean island. Enjoy the large empty beach with white powdered sand and lots of seashells to be found. One of the highlights of this home is its seclusion and privacy. This is truly paradise found and a dream come true!

The layout of the house is a simple split design. The open concept is perfect for entertaining with a large living room with new patio doors with blinds inside the door, dining room, and kitchen. This large area with cathedral ceilings can have the whole family together but everyone can be doing their own thing. There is a 60 inch flat screen TV, cable, and wireless wifi. Read a book on our comfortable couch in one area, watch TV in another, sit at the table and search the internet, or cook up a gourmet meal while gazing out to the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked with granite countertops, top of line appliances, and a large bar that can accomodate friends and family.

The master suite is located on one end of the living area, and two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bath, are located on the other. The master suite and one guest bedroom have entrances to the 60 foot deck overlooking the beach! Our guests will have sweet dreams on the king size tempurpedic bed.

Sun Sets Right in Front of Your 60 Foot Covered and Screened In Porch! This porch is enclosed so you can open the doors and windows for a soft flowing breeze throughout the home during the off summer months. There is also a new pair of Maytag washer/dryer.

The home has been freshly painted with an outdoor shower, surrounded with a new white vinyl privacy fence, and an upgraded driveway with tropical colored pavers.

There is a NEW bike and walking path that leads from the entrance of Cape San Blas all the way to the State Park (appx 7 miles). It is great for jogging, biking, exploring, and very safe for children. Up to (2) beloved dogs are welcomed in this home and the beach is pet friendly!

Beautiful views, so close to the beach, lovely house!

We had the best time at hidden treasure. What a beautiful view and just steps to the beach. We saw dolphins almost daily. House was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Location of the house was perfect. Uncrowded and private. We hope to come again at the end of the summer!

This was the BEST vacation my family has taken.

The house was beautiful and clean!! There was nothing we needed. The location was perfect. Very peaceful. The people I met on the beach and in town were so friendly. Everyone I met treated me great. Both of my adult children went with me and they both said this was the best vacation we have every taken. When you walk in the front door and look right out onto the ocean, breathtaking. The house was set up perfectly. The two living rooms were great, those who wanted to watch TV could and those who didn't could sit in back couches and read but still be involved in conversation. We spent most of our "home" time on the screened in porch. PERFECT place to stay.

Had a great time at Hidden Treasure! Easy access to the clean, quiet beach. House had everything we needed. Owner was great to work with. Beach and bay were both great for fishing. Sunset Coastal Grill in Port Saint Joe was our favorite place to eat. Also enjoyed a day trip to Apachicola. Would for sure stay here again.

Enjoyed for the most part put it didn't live up to the reviews posted

1. During rain storms the rear gutter over the walkway leaked and you couldn’t get down the steps without getting totally drenched.

2. The cleaning crew needs to do a much better job cleaning under the furniture and removing some of the dog hair.

3. Out of 4 TVs only 2 worked

4. The Dryer needs to be replaced from looking at the rusted door and the fact it took 3 to 4 cycles to dry towels.

5. The road coming into the property needs paving or some gravel to cover up the mud

Beds were very good, location was good and the Beach was great. I would stay there again but would not pay the asking price

Owner's Response: Thank you for your information regarding some issues you had with the beach house. We are so sorry for any inconvenience you might have had during your stay. We wished that you would have contacted me at the time so we could have resolved any dissatisfactions. Since this review, we checked out the TVs. Three out of four TVs worked great and the master bedroom lost its channels during the storm. We have auto scanned the channels from the remote and it is fixed. Whalaa! The dryer is used every weekend to wash and dry all linens and towels. The professional cleaning company has had no problems with the dryer. Maybe, the lint catcher needed to be emptied or too many items put in at once. During your stay, the begining of the access road to the rental home was under construction. Within 2 weeks, the road has been repaired. In addition, the driveway which the home sits on has been upgraded recently with new pavers. We encourage all of our arriving guests to inspect the property within 24 hours and be totally satisfied with the cleaning or anything else. We provide the name and phone number of our professional cleaners who can come out immediately and take care of any unresolved matters, before your vacation even begins. We are here to make sure that all of our guests have the optimum experience at "Hidden Treasure." Please just give us a call or text to let us know how we may better serve you... Thank you, Leslie
