Super clean cottage on beautiful lake!
Guys weekend away and this was an ideal spot for it. A beautiful lake with a boat and additional kayaks and a canoe. The house is updated with nice furnishings and modern appliances. The screened in porch with lake view is the spot for meals. Owner is very nice and friendly. Very clean house. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Lovely cottage in a great spot!
We stayed here for my son's college graduation and it more than met our needs. The cottage was very well maintained. And the new kitchen renovation was lovely with plenty of space. We had a few of his friends over and enjoyed sitting around the firepit.
The bedrooms are lovely and have very comfy beds, and the bathroom is very spacious.
Amy & Ken were quick to respond to our questions.
My nephew and a friends son will be graduating from the same school and we have highly recommended this place.
What a great house! Quiet spot along the lakefront. Spacious kitchen and living room, nice bedrooms and bath. Loved sitting on the screened in porch. Really enjoyed having the motorboat and kayaks to use on the lake. Enjoyed seeing loons on the lake as well.
Relaxation at the lake.
Description accurate. Property was clean and well stocked. Fantastic view from the screened-in back porch. We had an enjoyable week of fishing and boating on the lake, 1 rowboat with a motor, 2 Kayaks and 1 canoe included with rental. There was an extra fishing pole and tackle box which was a welcome surprise. We mostly grilled and brought our food with us. There are 2 local stores for shopping for necessities in Town about 2-3 miles, one had lots of candy for the younger one in the family. A really nice get-away for us in the North Country.
Trout Lake fun!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin on Trout Lake. The description was accurate and detailed. The house was well-equipped and very clean. We spent a lot of time swimming and lounging on the dock. We also enjoyed the small boat and the kayak. Grilling at night with the beautiful sunsets was ideal. Yes, I would recommend property this to anyone who wants to do nothing but relax, There were not many places to eat out unless you went to Canton or Potsdam. We enjoyed a nice lunch in Potsdam at Jake's on the Water. The owners were friendly and truly helpful. We would go back again if we were to go to that area again. :-)
Great day trips are available in all directions. Beautiful Waterfall Trails are only 20 minutes away. Alexandria Bay and Clayton in the Thousand Islands (about 60 minutes) are to the west, and Watertown (60 minutes), Syracuse (120 minutes), and Utica (90 minutes) are to the south. Some of the best white-water rafting in the US is on the Black River, just 50 minutes away.
