Description

Photos and Description of this holiday home in Victoria, Subd. A - Tipi & Domes

There's something magical about a circular dwelling!

The tipi is perfect in any arrangement, whether you’re a couple, a family or group. The tipi comfortably sleeps up to 5 adults, with enough room for you and your backpacks!

Sitting around a wooden platform floor, the base diameter of the tipi is 16 feet. A hardy canvas covers 22-foot-long spruce poles, which were cut, skinned and smoothed by the draw knives of the Cabot Shores crew.

While sleeping on mats is recommended, twin and queen-size beds are available for “deluxe” comfort seekers (or for those of us with old or sore bones!)

There is a fire-pit just outside the door, facing the ocean, for cooking or bonfires. Bathrooms and showers are just around the corner at Whiff’s Lodge.

Domes, geodesic and a tree house dome are new shelters at Cabot Shores.

The domes, Big Red and the Tranquility domes, are each 16 feet in diameter. Circular, they have a bay window with great views, a side vent and extensive skylight portals offering you a view of the stars by night and the occasional eagle flying overhead by day.

The Lunar Dome is a Tree house built for two or possibly 3 or 4 with a wee one or two. It sits in the apple orchard with great views of St, Ann's Bay, the Atlantic and the Bird Islands...

Why Dr. Paul chose Nova Scotia

The tipi at Cabot Shores is a versatile option to have in almost any situation: it is spacious, close to amenities while at the edge of the wilderness, and it can be arranged in order to suit all arrangements of people, gear and comfort.

Come and enjoy comfort and convenience with the lake, the ocean, the hills and the forest at your door-flap-step!

What makes this house unique

Our tipi is available for use from the Spring into the Fall; its construction offers resistance against the elements, for those who enjoy proximity to nature but also comforts close by.
