About Tucker Robbins

Twin Birches has been a part of family gatherings and romantic getaways for 20 years. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday with siblings, spouses and grand children from up and down east coast and as far away as London. All 29 of us sat at tables set up in the family room. When the house is bursting with family during the winter holidays, my mother loves to hear the plow on early snowy mornings knowing that some will be off to the mountain and others will stay behind to sit by the fire and read a good book. In the summer she likes to hear children splashing in the pool and waits to hear about adventures of hiking in Merck forest or the trouble people get into shopping in the discount stores in Manchester...Armani, Crew, Theory, etc.

Tucker Robbins purchased this house in 2002

Why Tucker Robbins chose Stratton and Bromley Ski Areas

My parents were excited to buy property in the Battenkill Valley because my father came here as a boy to visit his uncle, Horace Brown, a famous Vermont artist and a founder of the Southern Vermont Art Center, and to play golf with his father and 2 brothers while staying at the Equinox Hotel. Come share the fun, make new memories and love it as much as we do.

Perfect Place

  • 5 of 5

Twin Birches is a perfect house for a large group. Everything you could possibly need, and then some, is there. The house is beautiful, the grounds and views are equally gorgeous. The owners are great and prompt with returning emails. I considered becoming a "squatter" and never leaving. The whole experience helped make the event we were attending, my son's wedding, all the more memorable and sweeter. I highly recommend this home.

Another wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and two other small families stayed at Twin Birches for the second year in a row for a ski weekend and it was another 5 star stay. The communication, the great house layout, everything was great. We felt so at home immediately for the second year in a row, we cannot wait to come back. Great house, great family owners.

Fun Fall Weekend Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Had a great time with close friends while staying at Twin Birches. I had stayed at the house once before and loved it and thought it would be a perfect place to stay with friends in the fall. I was right. The colors of the foliage this time of year are stunning, not to mention you have gorgeous mountain views right from the house. The house is charming, every room has it's own personal touch and coziness. Beds and linens are comfortable and everything is very clean, something that is very important to me when staying in someones home. We cooked every meal and even used the grill on the deck. The game room with sauna was a great surprise to my friends, and we spent hours playing ping pong and having a blast. Everyone had a great time and we even discussed coming back in the summer to enjoy the pool! Anne was super helpful with any questions I had and very responsive.

I love this house and the Dorset and Manchester area... I HIGHLY recommend! Thanks Anne!
